St Pius X Catholic Primary Salisbury

Today we celebrated the Feast Day of St Pius X with a wonderful day of faith, fun and community. Students gathered for a special liturgy, enjoyed a sausage sizzle together, and had a fantastic time watching a science show.

It was a joyful way to celebrate our school patron and the spirit that makes St Pius X such a special place to learn and grow.

Today was Athletics Carnival day! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Students gave their best in every event, showing determination, resilience and great sportsmanship throughout the day. There were plenty of personal bests, encouraging cheers from teammates, and house spirit on display as students ran, jumped and threw their way through the carnival.

Thank you to our staff and supporters who helped make the day such a success. Well done to all students for giving it a go and representing their houses with pride!

Our Garden Gurus were hard at work again today, spending their lunch break caring for our gardens and helping keep our school grounds looking beautiful. 🌱

Today we welcomed author Paul Clarke to St Pius X! 📚

Students enjoyed hearing about Paul's journey as a writer, the inspiration behind his stories, and the creative process of bringing characters and adventures to life. It was a wonderful opportunity to spark imaginations, encourage a love of reading, and inspire our young writers.

Our school community gathered on Friday to celebrate the Assumption of Mary, with our Year 5 students leading a thoughtful and prayerful liturgy.

Through their readings, prayers and reflections, they helped us remember Mary’s faith, love and trust in God. Thank you to our Year 5 students for the care they brought to this special celebration.
