Students are invited to show their team spirit this Wednesday by wearing their State of Origin colours for Game 2 🏉

In lieu of interschool sports, our Year 4–6 students enjoyed an active and fun-filled Friday with Miss M stepping in to lead some great games and activities ⚽🏃‍♀️
It was wonderful to see students getting involved, showing teamwork and making the most of the opportunity to stay active together. Thank you, Miss M, for bringing the energy and ensuring everyone had a great time!

Reminder: this week we are holding our parent teacher interviews.

Our Garden Gurus have been hard at work, and it’s wonderful to see our gardens blooming beautifully 🌿🌸
With all the recent rain, the gardens have truly come to life, and our students have loved watching their efforts grow.

Year 4 had a great day out at the Commissariat Store Museum today!
They explored what life was like in early Brisbane, discovering stories from the past and seeing history up close. The hands-on activities helped bring their learning to life and sparked plenty of curiosity along the way.
A fantastic opportunity to connect classroom learning with our local history.

Our year 3 & 4 choir students are making the most of their Monday lunchtime rehearsals as they prepare for this year’s Combined Catholic Schools Choral Festival 🎶

It’s wonderful to see their commitment, teamwork and joy as they come together to practise each week. We can’t wait to see them shine on stage!

To complement their English learning, our Year 1 students have been getting creative with beautiful cat-inspired artworks 🐾
Drawing on the stories they’ve been exploring in class, students expressed their ideas through colour, texture and imagination—each piece as unique as the cats themselves! It’s been wonderful to see their creativity shine alongside their literacy learning.

The past couple of weeks at St Pius X have certainly been action packed! From sporting events and Wellbeing Week to lots of engaging learning happening in our classrooms, there has been so much to celebrate.
