What a joy to to accompany Youki at the Sale Eisteddfod. Her performances were so entertaining and musical! Im nostalgic, she’s now in year 12!

I’m pretty chuffed! There were 107 piano performances at the Sale Eisteddfod on Friday. My students had 21 of them and received 5 1sts, 6 2nds, 5 3rds and 5 Honorable Mentions (21 in all!) So pleased they all received something! Special congratulations to Josiah Gubaton who won the John Leslie Scholarship, the duet with Ellie, the own composition and received the most promising pianist trophy as well as other deserved places. I missed many photos, but here’s a couple.

Busy week!
Sale Eisteddfod. I’ve got piano students performing all day and evening Friday.
Accompanying my voice students Saturday and on Sunday morning I’m accompanying two brass band soloists…..lots of variety and great experience for all. Thankyou Music convenor Carolyn .👏🎶👏🎵👏🎶👏🎵👏🎶👏🎵👏🎶👏🎵

Timetable of performances will be posted tomorrow (Saturday) when amendments have been finalised because of change in musicians finish time.

Term 2 begins tomorrow. We have the Faire Day at Stratford on Sunday 3rd May. I’m hoping ALL students at JWSM will do their best to be involved performing on our small stage, please discuss with your teacher. Sale Eisteddfod follows on a couple of weeks later…..busy ,exciting times this term!
