Celebrating an Incredible Milestone - 15 Years of Dedication!
Today, we're proud to celebrate Raquel and her incredible 15 years of service in early childhood education.

From starting as an Assistant Educator, progressing to 2IC, and now leading as our Director Raquel's journey is a true reflection of her passion, commitment, and love for children, families, and her team.

Her leadership, warmth, and dedication have made a lasting impact on so many lives. She inspires those around her every day and continues to create a nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.

Last week we have proudly celebrated NAIDOC Week by recognising and honouring the history, culture, achievements and continuing contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

We were incredibly fortunate to welcome Gavin to our service, who shared his knowledge and culture with our children and educators. Gavin led a meaningful Smoking Ceremony, giving us the opportunity to learn about its significance as a way of cleansing, healing and welcoming. He played the didgeridoo for the children, what an experience!The children also enjoyed creating their own paintings inspired by Aboriginal art and storytelling, exploring symbols, patterns and connection to Country.

Experiences like these help children develop a deeper appreciation for Australia’s First Nations cultures, fostering respect, curiosity and a sense of belonging from an early age.

Today we recognise and celebrate Emma Farley on her 5-year milestone with Evolve ELC.

Throughout her journey, Emma has taken on many roles, including Assistant Educator, Lead Educator, and Float Staff, always bringing dedication, flexibility, and a positive attitude to every team she has been part of.

African Dancer 🥢

This morning we were lucky enough to have a visit from Dion Drummond.

Dion is an Indigenous performer who shares both mainland Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture through dance, music, and storytelling. He engaged the children with interactive performances, inviting them to join in with songs and movements.

The children loved having a go and being part of the experience it was wonderful to see their excitement and enthusiasm as they learned through such a meaningful and engaging session.

Meet our educator Jade- you’ll find Jade in our Toddler room.

Hi families 😊
My name is Jade, and I’m one of the educators here at Roseberry House. I’ve been working at the service for three years, with the past two and a half years spent in the Toddler (Borun) Room, currently the room leader.

I began my journey here when I was 16, and I’ve loved every moment since. Watching the children grow, learn, and develop their own little personalities is something I’m truly passionate about. I enjoy building strong, trusting relationships with both children and families, and creating a safe, nurturing environment where children feel supported and confident to explore.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, relaxing, and taking time to recharge. I also love being creative and keeping active when I can. I believe having a good balance outside of work helps me bring a positive and calm energy into the room each day.

I’m so excited to continue learning alongside the children and being part of their early years journey 💕

Community fun day!

Yesterday was a huge hit!

A big thank you to everyone who came down it was so lovely to see so many familiar and new faces in our community.

We’d also like to extend a special thank you to Marshall Arts Face Painting Gippsland, Kirribindi Farm Petting Zoo, and Pour Boys Coffee for being part of the day and helping make it such a great success.

We truly appreciate everyone’s support and can’t wait to do it all again! 😊
