Today we recognise and celebrate Emma Farley on her 5-year milestone with Evolve ELC.

Throughout her journey, Emma has taken on many roles, including Assistant Educator, Lead Educator, and Float Staff, always bringing dedication, flexibility, and a positive attitude to every team she has been part of.

Emma is a valued member of our Evolve family, and her commitment to supporting children, families, and colleagues is truly appreciated. Thank you for all that you do and for the passion and care you bring to your work each day.

Today we celebrate an incredible milestone for Aaron Wellins 5 years with Evolve ELC!

Aaron plays such an important role in our service, keeping everything running smoothly through his hard work in maintenance and as our cook. From ensuring our environment is safe and welcoming to preparing meals for our children, Aaron’s dedication and reliability are truly appreciated every day.

When children dress like super hero’s, it’s more than just play. It taps into several important areas of development. That kind of self expression can have real psychological, social, and emotional benefits.

First aid ⛑️

On Saturday, our dedicated educators took part in their annual CPR and First Aid refresher training. This important session ensures that our team remains confident, capable, and up to date with the latest safety practices.
By regularly renewing these essential skills, our educators are better prepared to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations, helping to provide a safe and secure environment for every child in our care.
We are proud of our team’s ongoing commitment to professional development and, most importantly, to the wellbeing and safety of the children and families we support every day.

African Dancer 🥢

This morning we were lucky enough to have a visit from Dion Drummond.

Dion is an Indigenous performer who shares both mainland Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture through dance, music, and storytelling. He engaged the children with interactive performances, inviting them to join in with songs and movements.

The children loved having a go and being part of the experience it was wonderful to see their excitement and enthusiasm as they learned through such a meaningful and engaging session.

Hi families 😊
My name is Jade, and I’m one of the educators here at Roseberry House. I’ve been working at the service for three years, with the past two and a half years spent in the Toddler (Borun) Room, currently the room leader.

I began my journey here when I was 16, and I’ve loved every moment since. Watching the children grow, learn, and develop their own little personalities is something I’m truly passionate about. I enjoy building strong, trusting relationships with both children and families, and creating a safe, nurturing environment where children feel supported and confident to explore.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, relaxing, and taking time to recharge. I also love being creative and keeping active when I can. I believe having a good balance outside of work helps me bring a positive and calm energy into the room each day.

I’m so excited to continue learning alongside the children and being part of their early years journey 💕

Community fun day!

Yesterday was a huge hit!

A big thank you to everyone who came down it was so lovely to see so many familiar and new faces in our community.

We’d also like to extend a special thank you to Marshall Arts Face Painting Gippsland, Kirribindi Farm Petting Zoo, and Pour Boys Coffee for being part of the day and helping make it such a great success.

We truly appreciate everyone’s support and can’t wait to do it all again! 😊

St Patrick’s day 🍀

This Tuesday, we had a wonderful time celebrating St. Patrick’s Day ☘️
The children came dressed in green and enjoyed learning about the meaning behind the day and its origins in Ireland.

Throughout the day, the children participated in fun and engaging activities, including creating shamrock crafts, colouring, and sharing stories. These experiences supported their learning about different cultures while encouraging creativity and self-expression.
It was lovely to see everyone join in the celebrations and embrace the spirit of the day! ☘️💚

On Monday, our kinder children were lucky enough to visit the local library, where they enjoyed a guided tour, listened to stories with Bernie, and took part in some fun craft activities. It was a wonderful experience for everyone!

Making connections with our local community is so important, and this excursion was a fantastic way for our children to learn, explore, and feel a sense of belonging.
