Mama Mia’s Family Day Care is a home setting environment that provides quality care for children between the ages of 6 weeks - 12 yrs. Our family day care provides school readiness for pre-schoolers, babysitting and vacation care. We are able to provide opportunities for children to
develop their learning potential as well as provide a safe, fun and caring environment. Located in St Marys / Oxley Park, the day care is insured with Family Day Care of Australia. Our daily program is compliant with Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) of Australia. ABOUT MIA AND HER PERSONAL PHILOSOPHY
“I’m Mia Eugenio. I live with my husband and four children and we are all very excited to be able to open and share our home with our family day care families. Having had 12 years of professional experience in childcare, I am passionate about quality education and care and I look forward to being given the opportunity to be part of this special and important time in your child’s life. My personal vision is to see that each child is unique. My aim is to encourage the well being of children. I value and believe that each child will be cared for and will be provided with safety and security at all times.”
WHAT WE PROVIDE
At Mama Mia’s Family Day Care, we aim to provide a fun and enjoyable learning experience for all children. We do so by providing the following:
• A clean and tidy home setting with a large indoor play area filled with a variety of age appropriate toys
• Home and kitchen play corner to enhance children’s dramatic play experiences
• Easel painting, colouring sheets and craft materials provided for children’s art and craft activities
• Pre-writing and pre-reading experiences to focus on individual learning capabilities of children to prepare them for their transition to school
• Spacious living room perfect for story time, group time activities and music and movement
• Secure and sheltered outdoor play area with suitable outdoor play equipment, small cars and bicycles
• Active play and exercises to enhance physical development and gross motor skills
• Children’s portfolios that include photos, observations sheets and artwork samples
Additionally, we ensure that the standard of hygiene and cleanliness and safety are maintained throughout your child’s stay at the day care. As education is an important part of your child’s learning, guided activities are set to help develop a sense of confidence for your child and encourage team building with other children. PAYMENTS
As we are registered under the Family Day Care Scheme, Child Care Rebate (CCR) and Child Care Subsidy (CCS)is available for eligible families. ACCREDITATION, FORMAL QUALIFICATIONS AND CLEARANCE
• Diploma in Children Services
• Certificate III in Child Care
• More than 10 Years of Professional Experience in a Child Care Setting
• First Aid Certified
• Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management Certificate
• All members of the family aged 18 and over have completed a Police Check and Working with Children Check. HOURS OF OPERATION
We are open from Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 6pm. Closed on weekends and public holidays. Extended hours are available upon request. CONTACT MIA
