Once again we are sending huge thanks to Paul Cramley, "Pacofino Alpacas" & also his sidekick Anthony Gasperov "Cracka Alpacas" without whom this post would not be possible. Charles Ledger Alpaca Show 2026 our little Mandala Smokey again strutted out his best, 1st Suri Junior Male - Roan and then Best Roan in Show.
Then Mandala Poisoden & Mandala Dionysus, as Paul describes "two peas in a pod" were 2nd in the Sires Progeny, well done Paul & Linda with the Sire Pacofino Black Orpheus.
We also send our Congratulations to Anthony who purchased Mandala Maharani & her cria not long ago. Unfortunately due to COVID we were never able to show her ourselves & that honour went to Anthony, with A first Suri Mature Female - Lt Fawn followed with a Champion ribbon, her cria Mandala Mahika with a third place Suri Junior - white. Well done Anthony, we are so pleased for you.
Once again without Paul and Linda these results would not be possible, and again thank you both.

I have been very slack in posts for Mandala recently, so apologies this will be a little long winded. Yes, as the drought starts to really bite here in the Central West, there has been some happy results for us. Our deepest thanks have to go to Paul Cramley and Linda Davies whose dedication to our industry and helping other breeders have produced some wonderful results for us in particular.
I will start with the Christmas in July Colourbration Show in July, where our beautiful little Smokey was awarded a First and Champion Junior Suri Roan Male. This was followed up with Mandala Dionysus, he was awarded Reserve Champion Junior Suri Black Male. Then Mandala Mahika our little white Suri Female was awarded second. Following the show Mahika was purchased with her mother Mandala Maharani by Anthony Gasperov, but they remain agisted at Pacofino. Congratulations Anthony it is now over to you and Paul to see where they go from here.
Next up came The Hunter Show in Singleton last weekend. Mandala Smokey repeated his previous success with another Champion and Supreme.
Mandala Dionysus a Second this time for his new co owner's Jonee Phillips and Wade Phillips of Jackpot Alpacas, purchased along with his mum Pacofino Burnt Orange.
We now jump to the AAA National Show in Bendigo where Dionysus again did his soon to be new owners proud taking out another Blue Ribbon and Mahika was awarded a second place for Anthony. We are so proud and happy for you all and hope they continue to do well for you both.

Huge Congratulations to Robyn Hamilton & Robert from Bellapaca Alpacas, on their purchase of our beautiful Mandala Greased Lightening fondly called "Spotty" by her second mum & Dad Linda Davies & Paul Cramley. There comes a time when common sense must take over from love & pride & that time has arrived. I cannot think of anyone I would rather see take over her care Robyn & certainly hope with pride to see what she achieves for you in the future.

Thought of you as I worked, I bet she didn't even know it was there. Now I had better keep my eyes open for more. Like you, no idea where it came from.

So this is it, another year over and if you ask any of my team, the answer will be, yes, it was again a great success. To my team one and all, thank you for your unwavering support. You have gone the extra mile this year and for that I thank you. I feel very confident that you have done what we set out to do, there are so many extra folk out there who now have a far deeper understanding of our beautiful fibre and yes some of you are now total converts and take this with you back to your groups. Also a huge thank you for your help in packing up and a photo to prove how sad out little space now looks.

Day four has come to a close, thank you one and all for your unstinting help and participation. We have even had some ring-ins, now I think more a permanent fixture 😂. I can't thank you all enough, we have all dealt with many questions and queries and not once have I seen a hint of impatience, you have all gone above and beyond, and I'm sure there are so many more people out there who now know so much more about Alpacas, their fleece, what we do with it and how we use it. They even know (or think they do) when the first Spinning Wheel was created and how the stone age man cut his thread 🤭😂😂😂. Today we also had more visitors (I leave this to you all to work out which 😜)

Today is day two of our Fleece to Fashion display in the Munro Pavilion at Sydney Royal. As usual our ladies surpassed themselves, they have spun, woven, needle felted, knitted and crocheted themselves into exhaustion. As usual the public have been amazed at the work produced and wanted to have a try at a spinning wheel. Yesterday the favourite was Berra and her Turkish Weaving. The young and old flocked to her table to have a go and at times there was quite a wait before your turn.
The hi-lite was also a visit from "Violet" who then gave free kisses all round. Once again thank you one and all for your friendship and more to importantly your tallent

We are so proud to share this with you all. Fibre Naturally has processed our fibre into beautiful yarn for many years and we have never regretted that choice. The yarn is beautiful and on top of that, Gayle and Jamie-Lee join us at Sydney Royal every year as part of our "Fleece to Fashion" team. Along with demonstrating their wonderful needle felting machine, producing beautiful individual scarves and blankets, Jamie-Lee demonstrates her beautiful weaving skills for all to admire. They process the fleece donated by our sponsors into butts for our team to spin, weave, knit and crochet the alpaca fibre into the items we all admire and wear.
