You used to be so critical of him, and he simply asked, “If it’s so easy, why don’t you start?” You did. You pushed through those tough early months, stuck with it, and yesterday you earned that belt. We’re all so proud of your journey!

This past Sunday, we hosted a Judo-for-BJJ seminar right here, and it was amazing! Kids from different academies joined us (some traveled even from Melbourne), coming together to train with Sensei Diego Barreto. It was a true mix of teams, a lot of learning, and one unforgettable day!

Jelena Talbot, I’m so proud of you for earning your purple belt! I still remember when you first started, all your effort, those early mornings when your three little girls were still tiny, and you’d let them sleep in the reception while you trained. Then you competed, and they did too, winning Judo nationals and collecting BJJ titles. Now you run your own gym, but you still train with us. We are so proud of you! congrats 💜🚀
