Our Year 5/6 students wrapped up their Knowledge Rich Unit on Chemical Science with an exciting visit to Twisted Science! 🧪✨

Through hands-on investigations and interactive experiments, students explored how matter changes, discovering the fascinating transformations between solids, liquids and gases. A fun-filled day of curiosity, discovery and scientific thinking that brought their classroom learning to life! 🔬💡

🧪🔬 Science came to life for our Year 1 & 2 students as they wrapped up their Knowledge Rich Unit on Chemical Science with a hands-on incursion from Supercharged Science ! ✨

From exploring solids, liquids and gases to investigating exciting experiments, our young scientists discovered that learning is even more fun when you can see it and test it! 🫧💧💨

What a fantastic way to spark curiosity, ask questions and celebrate the wonder of science! 🌟

🌊🐢💙 We made waves for World Ocean’s Day!

From colourful sea creatures to shades of blue and green, our students embraced the day with ocean-inspired outfits while our amazing iSea iCare Ambassadors educated junior students through fun mini workshops on protecting our oceans.

Thanks to the generosity of our community, we raised just under $300 for the Dolphin Research Institute institute to support vital marine conservation efforts. 🌏🐬

💗 Student voice in action! 💗
Some of our dedicated Year 5 students have organised a Breast Cancer Fundraiser on Wednesday, 10 June. We invite everyone to wear a splash of pink and bring along a gold coin donation to support this important cause.

We are so proud of our students for showing leadership, compassion and a commitment to making a difference in the lives of others. 🌸

❄️ Check out the newest addition to our St Simon’s apparel! Our brand-new St Simon’s beanies are the perfect way to stay warm during these chilly winter months while showing off your school spirit. ❄️

🌊💙 Last week, some of our senior students took part in our iSea iCare program, visiting Heany Park Primary School to learn more about protecting our oceans and marine life.

Our students then showed great courage and leadership as they shared their knowledge with younger students, inspiring them to help care for our environment and keep our oceans clean for the future. 🐠🐬🌎
