☂️✨ THE FUTURE STARTS WITH US! ✨☂️

Today we celebrated Early Childhood Educators’ Day in the most supercalifragilisticexpialidocious way we know how… with a little Mary Poppins magic!

From Cherry Tree Lane to London rooftops, a Spoonful of Sugar and our very own practically perfect educators, today was all about celebrating the incredible people who make a difference in the lives of our children every single day.

Because the future really does start with us. It starts in the cuddles, the conversations, the play, the messy moments, the big feelings, the learning and the relationships our educators build each and every day.

To our beautiful team, thank you for everything you bring to our children, our families and each other. You truly are practically perfect in every way!

This NAIDOC Week, we've been learning with Country in so many meaningful ways. ❤️💛🖤

Throughout the week, we've explored stories that teach us about caring for Country, Dreaming stories that share Indigenous perspectives of weather, and experiences that encouraged children to explore identity and connect with Country through natural materials and immersive digital landscapes.

Our Children's Council reminded us that caring for Country isn't just about keeping it clean. The children shared that it's also about enjoying it, playing on it, respecting it and spending time in nature.

We were also incredibly grateful to welcome Boston and Harley's dad, Adam, who generously visited our centre to play the didgeridoo and share this special cultural experience with the children. Thank you, Adam, for helping make our week even more meaningful.

Chef Sheena prepared a delicious menu featuring native bush tucker ingredients, and thanks to the generosity of our wonderful families, we created a beautiful foyer display showcasing photos of their own special places on Country. It was so special to see the many ways our community connects with and enjoys Country.

Thank you to our amazing children, families and educators for making this NAIDOC Week such a rich celebration of culture, connection, learning and community. ❤️💛🖤
