💙 **Happy Father’s Day from Rosewood State School!** 💙

Today we celebrate all the wonderful dads, grandads, stepdads, carers, father figures and special people who play such an important role in the lives of our students.

Thank you for the encouragement you give, the lessons you teach, the laughs you share and, most importantly, for simply being there. Your love, guidance and support help our children grow into confident, kind and resilient young people.

We hope all of the special people in our Rosewood State School community enjoy a wonderful Father’s Day filled with family, laughter and perhaps even a little time to put your feet up!

What a wonderful week of kindness, inclusion and standing together against bullying!

Our students took part in a range of activities across the week including our whole-school kindness chain, the Kids Helpline Largest Anti-Bullying Lesson, Dress Purple Day, lunchtime crafts and our Small Acts-Big Impact acts of kindness.

Today we welcomed Australian author and wildlife researcher Dr Sarah Pye to our school!

Students loved hearing how she combines science, wildlife research and real-life experiences with storytelling to create engaging books.

A wonderful reminder that reading can inspire curiosity, adventure and a lifelong love of learning!

Last Friday, our school was filled with cosy pyjamas and big hearts as we came together to support The Pyjama Foundation.

A huge thank you to our amazing students, families and staff for your generous gold coin donations and for helping make the day so much fun. Every contribution will help support children in foster care.

📚✨ StoryArts Festival – Day 1!

Today, our Year 2, Year 5 and Year 6 students enjoyed a fantastic day at the StoryArts Festival at West Moreton Anglican College. They immersed themselves in storytelling and creativity, with plenty of opportunities to inspire their love of reading, writing and imagination.

Tomorrow, our Year 3 and Year 4 students will experience the StoryArts Festival, and we look forward to hearing all about their day!
