Roseville College Alumni

Roseville College Alumni Welcome to our Alumni Community – reconnect, celebrate, and stay close to the heart of Roseville College.

Roseville College has a distinguished history and a tradition of achievement with a strong record for placing graduates in universities and institutions of higher education, and for launching young women into worthwhile and rewarding vocations and careers. All past students of the College, irrespective of their departure year, are welcome to join the Old Girls Union. (For ease of classification, e

x-students are grouped according to the year in which their peer-group graduated from Year 12.) The Union is coordinated by the Roseville College Community Relations Office, and it maintains an independent database. For information about Reunions, subscribing free-of-charge to our bi-annual publication “The Rose”, or other Old Girl services, please contact Community Relations on 9884 1100. College Past Staff are invited to join the Roseville Old Staff Association (ROSA), which was formalised in 2008 to coincide with the College’s Centenary Year. Please contact Community Relations on 9884 1100 to enquire about ROSA.

Edwina Brennan (Class of 2000)

We were delighted to welcome back Edwina Brennan as guest speaker to open our 2026 HSC Art and Design Exhibition. Edwina encouraged students to keep creating for the pure joy of it. She highlighted that careers, like art, are full of unexpected turns and students should enjoy the journey, celebrate achievements, and cherish the support of friends.

Edwina has a Bachelor of Art Education from the College of Fine Arts (COFA), UNSW, and has successfully combined her passions as both a practicing artist and a Visual Arts teacher.

Edwina delights in inspiring students to find their own creative voices and has taught across several secondary schools, including Killara High School, St Aloysius’ College, Monte Sant’ Angelo Mercy College, and currently Our Lady of Mercy College (OLMC).

Edwina has held three solo exhibitions, most recently showcasing her collection "Glimmers" at Sydney Showroom Space in Alexandria in 2025.

Public Speaking Competition 2026

Thank you to Rebecca Frantz (Class of 2025, Debating and Public Speaking Captain) who returned as our guest adjudicator for our much-loved Public Speaking competition.

Between the roaring house chants from over 800 students, and the high calibre of speeches, Rebecca had a tough job.

At school, Rebecca competed in ISDA, Archdale, SDN, Evatt Model UN, and Mock Trial. Now studying Law and Finance at ANU on a Tuckwell Scholarship and competing in Law Mooting and Negotiations, Rebecca brought incredible expertise to our stage. Thank you, Rebecca for judging and inspiring our girls.

Work Experience Hosts needed

As part of our Year 10 careers program, students will take part in work experience from 10-12 November 2026 and we need help from our Alumni community.

Real-world experience gives students an opportunity to test their career aspirations, gain hands-on insights, and build confidence.

Whether you operate in STEM, allied health, research, law, technology, business, or other fields, your partnership would be deeply valued.

Celebrating Science Week

We were thrilled to welcome back two inspiring Roseville Alumni for our Science Week Assembly.

Thank you to Dr Stephanie Nitschke nee Gardner (Class of 2006), a Marine Microbial Ecologist specialising in Coral Reefs and Antarctica, and Mia Sablatnig (Class of 2020), a Graduate Engineer in the Maritime and Coastal team at GHD.

They captivated our students with incredible stories from their STEM careers, from researching marine ecosystems to engineering solutions for coastal environments. Their journeys showed us how interesting science can be when tackling real-world environmental challenges.

Alumni Sea Eagles
We welcomed back some of our newest Alumni from Class of 2025, Charlotte Dickey and Sophie Harden to talk about post HSC study options.

Charlotte and Sophie are studying at the Sea Eagles Sports Business Academy, completing a dual diploma through TAFE Queensland while interning with the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles.

From major corporate events, to helping out on game days (yes, including wearing the mascot costume!), they are doing it all.

“It’s incredibly fun,” Charlotte and Sophie shared. “We get to meet the players, attend training sessions, and get experience in sports management, social media, events, community, and more.”

We love seeing our Alumni thriving!
