When I started my journey in Cake Decorating, fondant was the current trend. This cake was a 6" mud covered in ganache and fondant and then air set for 2 days, gladwrapped and frozen. A week later is was slipped into a tin lined with some bubble wrap and posted to Adelaide overnight to my beautiful Mam Jean (the mum you choose) 🥰 and when she opened it, decanters and set in on her china, only 1 blue pearl was loose 😁.
Try sending a buttercream cake via the mail 😆
