What an exciting Science Week we have had across our school! ✨🔬

Our students were busy last week exploring, investigating, building and asking lots of wonderful questions. We were lucky to welcome an astrophysicist, zoologist, environmental health researcher and marine scientist, exploring everything from the universe and animal poo to nature and our oceans! 🌏🔭🌊

Students also put their engineering skills to the test by designing and launching their own rocket.

We also had the opportunity to share some of our Science learning with families before Assembly on Friday, giving families a chance to see what our students have been exploring and investigating in their current Science units.

What a fantastic Book Character Parade we had today! Students, parents and staff certainly went above and beyond this year with their costumes. Well done to everyone involved. Huge thank you to Jill from MMG for coming along to judge our costumes and for providing extra prizes for the winners.

Our book week-themed Principal's Morning Tea today included a Cheshire cat, an Oompa Loompa, The Cat in the Hat, a Marshmallow and a Lion! These students want you to know they think everyone should make good choices, especially for the opportunity to go to a morning tea.

Our Scholastic Book Fair is here! Come along next week to see all the great new books we have available. Remember, every book you buy earns free books for our school!
