The inaugural Battle of the Bay Netball Match took place on Friday, bringing together girls from across the Senior School for an afternoon of cheering and fierce competition.
Our 2026/27 Sports Prefects, Eva and Ariane, share their reflections:
"First up was our Junior A's, they tried very hard and never gave up. Overall, Kincoppal won, however, the Kambala junior team and their coach should be thrilled with how well they played.
Next was the Senior 1sts game, which was a close and exhilarating match that kept everyone on their toes. In the end, Kincoppal won by 3 points.
Despite our losses, we walked away as better players, and with a closer connection to our neighbouring school.
The spectator numbers were incredible, we could not be prouder to attend a school with such a vibrant and supportive culture. The sportsmanship from both schools was admirable, and we hope this tradition lasts for years to come.
We are so grateful to have begun this tradition and will soon be hosting it ourselves."
