Great to welcome parents into a discussion about the 3/4 Candlebark Camp. There were lots of questions, cheers of excitement , quiet moments of thinking and serious anticipation. We are looking forward to the adventure for all students as they stretch their independence, collaborate with peers and have a balanced safe and fun filled three days!

Students in the 3/4 Learning area bombarded presenters with curious questions, gazed with wonder at the night sky in the planetarium, challenged Kathy Freeman to a race and even witnessed the discharge of millions of volts of electricity. A hair raising day full of wonder and energy. Thanks to teachers, volunteers and our curious students for the great day out!

Great to see the facilities team exploring new additions to the sporting areas around the school. They started with a tee ball diamond and football posts, moved to the synthetic surface on the basketball court now it is the transition from the gaga pit to an in-ground swimming pool!

A special thanks to parents who joined us tonight at the latest ParentEd session to explore the practical steps to ensure that we take protective online measures, build positive communication and support our students in the digital world. While many entered the evening with grave concerns about the impact that the online world can have on children, we all left more equipped and confident in acting to shape the world safer!
A special thanks to Steve from Evolve and Kate Arnot our Mental Health and Wellbeing Leader.

Today student leaders and First Nations students met to pause and reflect on the significance of National Sorry Day at the Banyule Council’s Sorry Day and Healing Ceremony. We joined with Ivanhoe Primary for the afternoon as well as many other local schools. Thanks to all involved.
Uncle Colin led the Welcome to Country. And share stories of First Nations experiences. Great to have two Rosanna Primary First Nations students share in leading the ceremony. The day ended with a celebration of cultural dance and story.

National Walk to School day saw us all peering through the fog and finding our way to school. Many walked, some rode and one even skated! It was a great healthy start to the day … especially being met at the gate with fresh fruit! Thanks to the Sustainability Team and School Leaders.

Today our Education Support staff were overwhelmed at a celebration of gratitude for their dedication and support for students. Letters and cards for students along with thoughts and words from parents combined with donoughts to mark World Education Support Staff Day.
