The Student Representative Council (SRC), are holding a gold coin m***i day fundraiser on Thursday 10 September 2026 to help raise funds for “R U OK?”.

R U OK? aims to inspire and empower everyone to meaningfully connect with the people around them The initiative encourages students to build awareness of how they can support their peers and reminds us that you do not need to be an expert to reach out — sometimes being a good friend and a great listener is all that is needed.

Students who wish to participate are invited to wear m***i clothing with the theme ‘Pop of Yellow’. Students are reminded that clothing must be appropriate for school and that covered footwear must be worn (no Crocs). Students are encouraged to donate a gold coin, if they choose to come dressed in m***i clothing.

Key Points:
* Date: Thursday 10 September 2026 (Week 8B)
* Dress code: ‘Pop of Yellow’
* Cost: Gold coin donation

Last week we celebrated Book Week 2026 with the theme A Symphony of Stories. 🎻

On Monday, Year 7 students attended a writing workshop with author Magda Mizzi. Over the rest of the week students participated in lunch time activities in the library, including karaoke, literary trivia, craft and the Book Week Costume Day. English classes from 7-10 undertook special Book Week projects.

The SRC raised $190 for Dymocks Children's Charities Library Boost Project, which will be matched dollar for dollar by the charity and will provide books to schools in need. 📚💫

Our Year 10 Photography students have been exploring how photography can be used to communicate words and ideas visually. Through portraiture and digital manipulation, students have experimented with ways to make a word visible through an image.

Let’s congratulate our Artists of the Week — Amarra, Faith, Nua and Farrokh! They have successfully used editing software to manipulate their photographs to communicate the words ‘Puzzled’ and ‘Blur’.
