🚒🔥 FIRE BRIGADE INCURSION! 🔥🚒

Today, our children had an amazing and educational visit from our local Fire Brigade! 👩‍🚒🧑‍🚒❤️

The children were so excited to meet the firefighters and learn all about fire safety, emergency situations and the important work firefighters do to keep our community safe. 🏠🔥🚨

Our little learners had the opportunity to:
👩‍🚒 Meet the amazing firefighters
🚒 Explore the fire truck
🧯 Learn about firefighting equipment
🚨 Learn about fire safety and emergencies
💦 See the equipment used by firefighters
👀 Ask questions and share their ideas

The children were curious, engaged and absolutely fascinated by the fire truck and all the equipment! 🥰🚒✨

A BIG thank you to our wonderful local Fire Brigade for taking the time to visit us, answer the children's questions and provide such a valuable hands-on learning experience. ❤️👏

We are so grateful for the incredible people in our community who help keep us safe! 🙏👩‍🚒🚒

🚓👮‍♀️ A SURPRISE POLICE EXPERIENCE! 👮‍♂️🚔✨

Today, while we were travelling back to the centre from the park 🌳🚌, one of our amazing local police officers 👮‍♀️🚓 stopped to check that we were okay and safely making our way back to the centre. 💙🛡️

The officer even waited until we had safely arrived at the centre! 🥰🏫✨
But the excitement didn’t stop there! 😍🎉 The children had the wonderful opportunity to explore the police car from the inside 🚔👀, see all the different features and equipment, and learn more about what police officers do in our community. 👮‍♂️🔍🗣️

And the best part… WE GOT TO HEAR THE POLICE SIREN! 🚨🚨🚨😮🤩 The children were so excited! 🙌🥳

💙 A HUGE THANK YOU to our wonderful police officer for stopping to check on us, making sure we were safe, and turning an ordinary trip back from the park into such a special and memorable experience! 👮‍♀️🚓🌟

🌱✨ This was such a beautiful example of spontaneous learning! The unexpected experience encouraged the children to ask questions, share their ideas, explore, observe and learn about the important role police officers play in keeping our community safe. 🏘️🛡️👮‍♂️💕

🚑❤️‍🩹 FIRST AID DAY – LEARNING TO SAVE LIVES! ❤️‍🩹🚑

Last week, on the occasion of First Aid Day, our amazing educators participated in CPR training to refresh and strengthen their essential life-saving skills. 👩‍🏫👨‍🏫💪

Our team practised important skills such as CPR, responding to emergencies, and providing safe and appropriate support. 🚨❤️

At Romsey ELC, the health, safety and wellbeing of our children is always our top priority. Ongoing training helps our educators feel confident, prepared and ready to respond calmly in an emergency. 🌟🫶

A big thank you to our wonderful educators for their commitment to continuous learning and for helping us create a safe and caring environment for every child. ❤️👏

🌿 Introducing 🌟Bubs Club🌟 at Romsey Early Learning 🌿

Our first session is scheduled for next Monday, 21 September!

As an extension of our learning and conversations around R U OK? Day, we’re excited to introduce Bubs Club – Little Movers, a FREE 6-week community program for local families with babies and toddlers aged 6 weeks to 2 years. 💕

The early years of parenthood can be wonderful, exhausting and sometimes a little isolating. Bubs Club is about creating a welcoming space to get out of the house, meet other local families and start building your village.

🎵 Mondays | 9:00am–10:00am
📅 21 September – 26 October 2026
📍 Romsey Early Learning | 3 Main Street, Romsey
👶 6 weeks–2 years | FREE | Limited to 12 families

Join us for music, movement, dancing, colourful scarves, instruments, bubbles and sensory fun, followed by a cuppa and an opportunity to connect with other local families. 🌿

💛🌼 KINDNESS IN ACTION 🌼💛

Last week, our children celebrated R U OK? Day by learning that a simple act of kindness can make someone’s day brighter. 😊💕

👩‍🍳🧁 The children worked together to make delicious cakes and also created beautiful handmade cards to share messages of kindness, friendship and care for our local community, sharing their time, care and creativity with others. 🤝💛

Through this experience, children explored the importance of: 💬 Checking in with others and asking, “Are you OK?”
💛 Showing kindness, care and empathy
🤝 Helping and supporting our community
🧑‍🍳 Working together and sharing responsibilities
😊 Understanding that small acts of kindness can make a BIG difference!

It was wonderful to see the children proudly taking part and learning that kindness is something we can practise every day. 🌈✨

Our children and Educators joined in learning about the importance of kindness, caring, friendship and looking out for one another. 🥰🤝

Through meaningful conversations, stories, activities and play, the children explored how we can: 💛 Ask our friends, “Are you okay?” 🤗 Be kind and caring towards others

👂 Listen when someone wants to talk
😊 Use kind words and gentle actions
🫶 Include everyone and help our friends
🌈 Understand that it’s okay to talk about our feelings

We believe it’s never too early to help children develop empathy, emotional awareness and a sense of belonging. 🌱💕

A simple question can make a big difference — “Are you okay?” 💛

Let’s continue to spread kindness, check in with each other and remind our little ones that their feelings matter and they are never alone. 🌻✨

💙 Dads, Pops, giggles & a little friendly competition! 💙🏋🏻‍♂️🏆 @ Romsey Early Learning

What a wonderful afternoon it was celebrating the special Dads and Pops in our Romsey Early Learning community! 🥰

For Father's Day our children loved sharing an afternoon of cuddles, laughter and play, topped off with a sausage sizzle 🌭 and plenty of energetic fun with Coach Stefan from Ready Steady Go Kids! ⚽️🏃‍♂️

And of course, things got a little competitive when the tug of war came out! 💪 We loved seeing our Dads and Pops jump in, and let the little ones take the win of course!! 😄

There’s something pretty special about watching our children light up when their favourite people step into their world and join in the fun. 🥰

These are the moments we love at Romsey Early Learning, bringing families together, building connections and creating happy memories along the way. 💕

🦁💛 EMPOWERING LITTLE VOICES WITH KIDSROAR🦁💛

Our children enjoyed a wonderful KidsROAR incursion, learning about child safety, personal boundaries, recognising their feelings, speaking up, and knowing who they can trust and talk to. 🗣️🌈

It was a fun, engaging and empowering experience that reminded our children that their voice matters and they have the right to feel safe. 🦁💪✨

Yesterday we celebrated our wonderful team at Romsey Early Learning for **Early Childhood Educators’ Day!** 💕

This special day is an opportunity to recognise and thank our incredible educators for the nurturing care, patience, creativity and dedication they bring each and every day. From the endless exciting experiences they create to the love and support they give our children and families, we are so grateful for everything you do. 🫶🏻✨

A very special thank you to Sarah from Revive Massage & Beauty Romsey for treating our team to some beautifully relaxing massages 😌💆🏻‍♀️, to our clever cook Preet for the gorgeous spread of goodies 👩🏻‍🍳, to Sweety for creating the beautiful displays 💕, and to Hiroshi for the most beautiful cupcakes! 🧁

It was such a lovely way to celebrate the beautiful people who make Romsey Early so special.
