🏕️✨ LEARNING, SHARING & PLAYING TOGETHER ✨🏕️

Our children have been having the best time exploring our cosy tent cubby house! 🤎⛺ Through imaginative play, they are building friendships, sharing ideas, and creating wonderful adventures together. 🌿💛

We have introduced an "Open 🚪 / Closed 🚫" system to help children learn about respect, patience, and social awareness. When the cubby is OPEN, friends are welcome to join the fun! 🥰 When it is CLOSED, it means the cubby is full, and children practise waiting patiently for their turn. 💕 This simple system encourages communication, turn-taking, problem-solving, and respect for each other's play. 🌟👏

Learning through play is full of valuable life skills, and we love watching our little learners grow every day! 🌈💚✨

🦷✨ LITTLE DENTISTS IN ACTION! ✨🦷

🦷🎨 Our little learners became mini dentists and artists. Using colourful playdough, they created their own teeth while exploring the importance of dental health. 😁✨

🌈 This fun, hands-on activity encouraged creativity, strengthened fine motor skills, and sparked conversations about keeping our teeth clean and healthy. 🪥🦷 Through play, children learn valuable life skills while having lots of fun! 💙

🦷✨ DENTAL HEALTH WEEK! 😁🪥🌟

What a fantastic Dental Health Week we've had! 🦷💙 Our children explored the importance of keeping their teeth healthy through fun, hands-on learning experiences.

We talked about healthy and unhealthy foods, 🥕🍎🍭 learned why it's important to brush our teeth twice a day, 🪥 discovered how germs can cause cavities, 🦠 and practised the correct way to keep our smiles bright and healthy. 😁✨

The children also enjoyed getting creative by making their own teeth art and craft, participating in group discussions, reading stories, singing songs, and learning all about visiting the dentist in a positive and exciting way. 🎨📚🎶

It has been a wonderful week full of learning, creativity, and healthy habits that will last a lifetime! 💙🦷✨

🥣🌿 MUD KITCHEN MAGIC 👩‍🍳🪣✨

Our little chefs had so much fun in the Mud Kitchen today! 🌿🤎 Using natural materials, water, and their imaginations, the children mixed, poured, stirred, and created delicious "mud recipes." 🥣💦 This hands-on play encouraged creativity, teamwork, problem-solving, fine motor skills, and endless imaginative adventures. 🪵🍃🌈 Learning through play is always the best recipe for fun! 💚🦋✨

🦖🌋 DINOSAUR ADVENTURE & COLOUR DISCOVERY! 🦕🎨✨

Our little explorers had a ROAR-some time today! 🦖💚 The children used dinosaur toys to create colourful footprints, exploring different colours, textures, and imaginative play. 🎨👣 They talked about the dinosaurs, compared their sizes, and enjoyed making unique patterns while developing their creativity and fine motor skills. 🌈✨

✨🔤 SENSORY LETTER EXPLORATION 🔤✨🌈

At Romsey Early Learning Centre, our children are building strong foundations for school readiness through fun, hands-on learning experiences! 💙📚

Using our colourful sensory trays, the children explored and recognised letters by tracing them with their fingers, matching them to the alphabet chart, and identifying their shapes. This engaging activity encourages children to learn through play while developing early literacy skills in a meaningful and exciting way. 🌈✋

Our educators supported the children's learning by encouraging them to name the letters, talk about the sounds they make, and identify words that begin with each letter. These rich conversations help build confidence, language skills, and a love of learning. 💬💛

🦋✨ EXPLORING THE AMAZING WORLD OF BUTTERFLIES ✨🦋

Curiosity was soaring as our children explored the fascinating life of butterflies! 🌿🐛🦋 Together, we learned about the butterfly life cycle and had wonderful discussions sparked by the children's thoughtful questions: Do butterflies have bones? How do they walk? How do they fly? Why are they so colourful? 🤔💭

Our amazing educators guided these conversations by introducing different species of butterflies, explaining their beautiful symmetrical wing patterns, unique colours, and how these amazing insects grow and survive in nature. This engaging experience encouraged curiosity, scientific thinking, language development, and a deeper appreciation for the incredible world around us. 💚🌼

🐞🦋 BUG HOTEL ADVENTURES 🦋🐞

What an exciting day of learning at Romsey Early Learning Centre! 💚🌱

Our curious little explorers worked together to create their very own Bug Hotel 🏡🐞 using natural materials such as sticks, leaves, bark, pinecones and twigs. 🌿🍂🌾 As they carefully built their bug hotel, the children discussed where insects like to live and how we can create safe spaces for them in nature. 🐛🐞🐜

We are so proud of our amazing little learners for showing such kindness, curiosity and excitement while exploring the fascinating world of bugs. 🥰🐞🦋

A huge thank you to our amazing educators 💚👏 for creating such engaging and meaningful learning experiences.
