💗 WHAT A DAY! 💗

We honestly can’t thank everyone enough for coming along and supporting the 2026 St John’s Family Race Day yesterday.

Seeing so many families, friends and familiar faces enjoying the day was exactly what this event is all about. From the racing and Fashions on the Field, to the Kids Zone, live music and everything in between – the atmosphere was incredible! 🌈🏇

To everyone who bought a ticket, booked a marquee, purchased raffle tickets, brought the kids along, dressed up, had a dance, shared our posts or simply came along to support us – THANK YOU!

A huge thank you once again to all of our amazing sponsors and local businesses who backed us this year. Whether you sponsored the day, donated a prize, supplied goods or services, or helped us out along the way – we genuinely couldn’t have done it without you. The support our little school receives from this community is pretty special. 💗

And finally, to this crew! 🥰

There is a lot that goes on behind the scenes to pull a day like this together – plenty of messages, lists, running around, last-minute changes and a few laughs along the way. 😂

I couldn’t be more thankful for this amazing committee and everyone who put their hand up to help. Seeing the grounds full and everyone enjoying themselves made every bit of work completely worth it.

Raffle Tickets, Food Platters and Children’s armbands are available via the St John’s School Qrk! App.

Food Platters:
•Orders for these close TODAY Wednesday 13th August so make sure you pre-order as these will not be for sale on the day. Pre-Order ONLY.
•Dairy Free, Gluten Free and Nut Free options are available.

Kids’ Armbands:
•Armbands will give kids unlimited access to the jumping castles and facepainting as well as a few different lawn activities.
•Will also include a sausage and a popper.
•Armbands can also be purchased on the day.

Major Raffle Tickets:
•Sponsored by Western Queensland Spirit and Omni, the winner will enjoy a Helicopter Flight & Gin Blending Class involving a 30-minute scenic helicopter tour over Roma. Landing at Western Queensland Spirit distillery for a Gin Blending Masterclass with three friends. After the class, another helicopter flight back to Roma Airport.
