Creating a safe sleep environment is one of the many ways we care for children each day. From following safe sleep practices and using approved cots, to completing visual checks every 5 minutes, our educators take every step to help children rest safely and comfortably.

We also work closely with families to understand each child's individual sleep routine, because feeling safe, settled and well-rested helps children learn, grow and thrive.

🎉 Exciting News for Our Centre! 🎉

We are incredibly proud to announce that Mr Sachitha has been selected as a finalist for Goodstarter of the Year for South East Queensland!

Out of hundreds of nominations, Sachitha has been shortlisted into the top three finalists, which is an outstanding achievement and a true reflection of the positive impact he has on our children, families, colleagues, and wider community.

What makes this nomination even more special is that it was supported not only by our educators but also by many of our families, highlighting the meaningful relationships and contributions Sachitha makes every day.

The winner will be announced at the end of October, and while we eagerly await the results, making it this far is already an incredible accomplishment.

Please join us in congratulating Sachitha on this well-deserved recognition. We are so proud to have you as part of our team and wish you the very best for the final announcement! 👏🎉🌟

This week, our Kindy children have been exploring an important Child Protection project, helping them learn about their rights, personal safety, trusted adults, and the importance of speaking up when they feel unsafe or worried.

Through stories, discussions, role play, creative arts, and group experiences, the children have been developing an understanding that:

💛 Their voice matters
💛 They have the right to feel safe and respected
💛 They can identify trusted adults who can help them
💛 It's okay to talk about their feelings and concerns

We are incredibly proud of the thoughtful conversations, confidence, and understanding our children have shown throughout this project. By empowering children with age-appropriate knowledge and skills, we are helping to build their confidence, resilience, and wellbeing.

Today, our children had so much fun taking part in our "Paint the Educator" activity. With plenty of laughter, creativity, and colourful paint, children and educators came together to create special memories and celebrate the amazing relationships that make our centre so special.

These joyful moments remind us that learning happens through play, connection, and shared experiences. Seeing the smiles, excitement, and laughter on both the children's and educators' faces was truly heartwarming.

What a wonderful week of stories, imagination, and creativity!

Our children had an amazing time celebrating Book Week 2026 through dress-ups, storytelling, literacy experiences, and sharing their favourite books with friends. It was wonderful to see so many children embrace the magic of reading and bring their favourite characters to life.

A big thank you to all our families for supporting this special week and helping create lasting memories for our children.
