Another fun packed day at camp. Boogie boarding, rock pooling, playground and games!

What a great first day at camp. There were a lot of excited children this morning ready for a fun packed few days ahead.

Today group 1 explored the rock pools and beach at Barwon Heads, while group 2 learnt about the lighthouse and world war bunkers at Point Lonsdale and had a beach walk and some fun in the sand.

Congratulations to Hallie on the amazing effort she put in competing at the Greater Western Region Cross Country in Warrnambool today! 🏃‍♀️👏

Hallie finished an outstanding 24th place out of a field of 52 competitors — an incredible achievement.

To reach this level, Hallie first won the Rokewood Primary School Cross Country before going on to place 3rd at the Eureka Cross Country in Ballarat to qualify for today’s event.

This is a fantastic achievement, especially when competing against students who train regularly and compete in cross-country events year-round. Hallie’s determination, resilience, and willingness to always do her best should make her extremely proud.

We as a school, are incredibly proud of you, Hallie! 🌟

🌳 Parents & Friends Tree Fundraiser 🌳

Today, information and order forms for our Parents & Friends Tree Fundraiser were sent home with each family.

If you would like to place an order, please return the forms by Monday, 8 June. Payment can be made by cash at the school either when placing your order or at the time of collection.

Order forms can be returned to the school office or emailed to [email protected]

Extra forms are also available at the school office, the Rokewood shop, the Men's Shed, and Rokewood Hall for any other members of the community who would like to support the fundraiser.

What an exciting day at MoPA! 🎉

Our students and teachers had a fantastic time exploring, creating, and taking part in lots of hands-on experiences and challenges throughout the day. From problem-solving activities to interactive learning opportunities, there were smiles, teamwork, and plenty of fun along the way.

We are so proud of the way our students embraced every challenge, showed curiosity, and supported one another. A wonderful day of learning beyond the classroom! 👏
