I'm running a spring Bin Beat Project with students, "Alley Cat" I performed this idea for Sydney festival. The instruments may be unconventional, but the skills behind the performance are serious rhythm, listening, coordination, memory, movement, teamwork and confidence.

Four days.
Ten bins.
One ensemble.
And one very cool Hobart performance.

I’m very proud to highlight young artist Aurie Chowdhury and her original song,One Light, developed and recorded here at The Watch House Music Studio. We recently took the project to Frying Pan Studio at MONA, where Aurie recorded her vocals and we captured the live drums. It has been wonderful watching the song come to life, and I look forward to sharing more as the project develops.

The Winter Drum Program brought ten students together to create and perform an energetic drum show around the bonfire. With lights, lasers and a dancing audience, it was a memorable celebration of teamwork, confidence and musical growth.

I'm running a drum program during the January holidays commencing 10.00 AM-12.00 PM Monday 5th January-Friday 9th January.

The program will focus on building students' confidence, ear training, performance, and timing skills through repertoire and performance.

Drummers will receive two-hour rehearsal slots and private tuition as we work toward learning and memorising two performance pieces to perform at the end of the program on Sunday 11th January 3.00 PM at Lauderdale beach ( Weather Permitting)

The program is an excellent opportunity to focus and excel in a supportive environment.

The cost for the 6-day, two-hour per day program for each student is $660.00

This will be a lot of fun!
