Final few spots remaining for our TERM 4 HOMESCHOOL PROGRAM.

Our Knowing Me, Knowing You Homeschool Program is now taking enrolments for Term 4.

Designed for home-educated young people aged 12–16 years, this is so much more than just a workshop series. It is a safe, supportive space for young people to explore who they are, how their brain works, their relationships, and where they fit in the world.

Across four interactive, hands-on sessions, we will explore:

This Is Me – Identity, authenticity, strengths & belonging

My Story, My Brain – Narrative, neurodiversity, regulation & self-expression

Me & My People – Friendship, empathy, communication & boundaries

Finding My Spot in the World – Values, resilience, confidence & future self

Commencing 15 October 2026
3-hour sessions, fortnightly

Participants will also receive a Term 4 Learning & Evidence Pack to support homeschool records and demonstrate the learning completed throughout the program.

We have been a little quiet on here. 🤍

The truth is we have been busy in the playroom, and the socials slipped (well really, we actually barely even started). But here we are, and we thought we would start by opening the door.

This is Mindful Magic, a counselling and play therapy space in Rockingham for children, teens and their families.

We do things a little differently over here using multiple modalities best suited to the client whether that is play based, art based, sand tray based or generally talk based therapies.

If you have been waiting for support, or wondering whether your child needs it, please reach out. We are a private billing service however, we offer discounted concession rates for those with concession cards or a MHCP. We further offer NDIS funding for self and plan managed participants.

Seeing it is WA Mental Health Week, it felt like the right time to say hello again. Stick around: there's a lot more coming.

Deb is our Creative Clinician here at Mindful Magic and is currently in the final weeks of completing her Master’s in Play Therapy! 🎉

Deb works with both children and youth, adapting her approach to suit their age, interests, personality and individual therapeutic needs.

Her sessions can look a little different depending on what each child or young person needs. Deb draws on a range of creative and therapeutic approaches including:

🎉 Introducing our newest clinician 🎉

We are so excited to welcome Declan to the Mindful Magic team, with appointments available from Monday, 27th July! 💚

Declan is a compassionate Social Worker and Therapist with a warm, strengths-based approach to supporting young people and their families. With additional training in DBT, Schema Therapy and Therapeutic Crisis Intervention, he has experience working with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, family and domestic violence, and emotional and behavioural challenges.

🌿 Declan has a particular passion for supporting young males aged 9+ through a holistic therapeutic mentoring approach, helping build confidence, emotional resilience and healthy coping strategies.
