Allenstown State School Playgroup

It’s nearing the end of the year and we have come together with local businesses, parents, carers and community members to create an end of school year raffle.

We were so overwhelmed with the generosity that we have ended up with 35 prizes.

We thank everyone who has contributed to make this happen.

🌟 Support Over the Christmas Holidays 🌟

As we head into the holiday season, we want to remind our school community that support is available for anyone who may be experiencing difficulties during this time. Whether you’re facing challenges with your well-being, finances, or just need someone to talk to, there are services ready to help.

Take care of yourselves and each other, and please reach out for assistance if needed. Wishing all our families a safe and peaceful Christmas break.

The families of Allenstown State School Playgroup want to thank Our Allenstown State School community for their amazing support and generosity toward Share the Dignity's "It's in the Bag" Campaign.

With the help of our Playgroup, School and the wider community, we manage to smash our original goal of 6 bags (2 mums and bubs, 2 Teen and 2 Adult) and we managed to put together 19 bags in total (4 Mums and bubs, 3 Teen and 11 Adult!) With some extra bits we were able to donate separately.

We'd also like to give a special thankyou to Mr Doherty, Mr White, Kerry Pease and the P&C committee for allowing us to make this possible and helping us where they could. We also had some help from student volunteers who we'd also love to thank again!

You're all amazing and we hope to be able to do the same or even more next year!

🩷 Supporting Share the Dignity: A Little Goes a Long Way! 🩷

At Allenstown State School, we believe in giving back to our community and making a positive impact where we can. Our wonderful Allenstown State School Playgroup are leading the charge this term to support Share the Dignity, an incredible initiative that provides essential products to women and girls in need across Australia.

Each month, women and girls face the challenge of period poverty, lacking access to basic sanitary items. With your help, we can make a difference. 🌸 Whether it’s donating pads, tampons, or reusable products, every contribution helps restore dignity and make life just a little easier for those in need.

We cant wait to see you all at playgroup in the morning. Don't forget your hat and a water bottle

Join us for playgroup tomorrow from 8:45 am - 10:45 am in I block (behind the prep building)

There will be messy play so bring a changer of clothes. Dont forget your water bottle, a hat and some morning tea
