We are so excited to introduce Miss Sheridan as our new Assistant Director and Educational Leader at Natural Wonders Early Learning Berserker. 🤍

Sheridan has been part of Natural Wonders for four years and brings with her almost 15 years of experience within the Early Childhood Education and Care sector. Throughout her time with us, Sheridan has embraced a number of leadership opportunities. After previously leading our Nursery, she supported and mentored other Educators to step into leadership opportunities of their own, sharing her knowledge and experience while encouraging others to grow and develop within their careers.

This year, after returning from maternity leave, Sheridan’s focus has expanded across our whole service. She has played an important role in supporting our Educators and leadership team, bringing with her a strong understanding of compliance and particular strengths in Regulations, Policies and Procedures. Sheridan also has a keen interest in creating intentional environments that genuinely support children’s learning, development and wellbeing. Her ability to bring together both the educational and operational sides of Early Childhood Education and Care will be a wonderful strength as she steps into this new role.

As both an Educator and a mum herself, Sheridan understands just how important the early years are and the enormous trust families place in us to care for, educate and advocate for their children. As she takes this next step, Sheridan is excited to continue growing with Natural Wonders, strengthening connections with our families and wider community, and supporting our Educators to provide meaningful, high-quality experiences for every child.

At the heart of Sheridan’s approach is a commitment to ensuring that the best interests of our children, Educators, families and wider community remain central to the decisions we make and the direction we take as a service. We are incredibly excited to see Sheridan bring her knowledge, experience and passion into this position, while continuing to evolve and grow as a leader.

Today we farewelled Miss Shaye - our Educational Leader and Assistant Director. 🤍

Shaye joined Natural Wonders Early Learning Berserker over five years ago, and during that time we have had the privilege of watching her grow throughout her career - from Educator, to Lead Educator, and ultimately into the roles of Assistant Director and Educational Leader.

Throughout her time with us, Shaye has supported our children, families and Educators with such dedication. She has played an important role in guiding our educational programs and curriculum, always ensuring that each individual child, their learning, their development and who they are as a person has been genuinely valued and captured.

Now, Shaye is embarking on an entirely new career outside of the Early Childhood Education and Care sector. While we are incredibly sad to see her leave Natural Wonders, we could not be prouder of her for taking this next step and of all the opportunities that now lie ahead of her.

Thank you, Shaye, for everything you have given to Natural Wonders, our team, our families and, most importantly, the many children whose lives you have been part of.

We are so proud of you and wish you nothing but happiness and success in this next chapter. 🤍

Today we celebrate all the wonderful dads, stepdads, grandads, pops, uncles, carers and special father figures within our Natural Wonders community.

Thank you for the love, guidance, encouragement, laughter and countless little moments you bring into the lives of your children each and every day.

Families come in all shapes and sizes, and today we recognise every special person who steps into that important role with love.

Today, we want to take a moment to thank our incredible team of Educators for the care, passion and dedication they bring to the early years every single day. 💛

The work you do goes far beyond teaching. You nurture, comfort, encourage, inspire and create safe spaces where children feel valued, supported and free to grow into exactly who they are.

The early years matter — and so do the incredible people who dedicate themselves to making those years meaningful. We are so proud of the commitment, love and energy our team brings to our children, families and service each day.

To our wonderful Educators, thank you for everything you do — including all the little things that often go unseen but make such a big difference.

What a fabulous effort from our entire team! The creativity, enthusiasm and commitment to Book Week have been incredible. Stay tuned over the coming days as we share some of the other amazing costumes our Educators brought to life throughout the week. 📚✨

To our families, we hope you’ve enjoyed seeing all the Book Week fun and special moments shared through our internal platform, OWNA, this week.

As we move forward, our approach to sharing images on social media will look a little different. Our commitment to child safety, children’s rights, privacy and creating safe digital environments remains at the heart of this decision. While this means limiting the images of children we share publicly, it certainly doesn’t mean we’ll stop sharing the wonderful experiences, celebrations and fun that make our service so special.

We’re still navigating what our social media presence will look like within this changing digital landscape, and we may be a little tentative as we find that balance. What we are certain about, however, is our commitment to placing the safety, dignity and rights of every child first. 🤍

And thankfully, our Educators are always willing to step in front of the camera and bring a little fun to your feed! 🌈📚✨

Our annual Book Week ‘Best Dressed’ competition is going to look a little different this year! 📚✨

With the evolving child safety requirements and our commitment to creating safe digital environments, we’ve made the decision to limit our online presence this year and the sharing of images of our little friends at the service.

For us, this is about putting children’s safety, privacy and rights first — while still finding ways to celebrate the magic, creativity and fun that Book Week brings! 💛

So this year… the competition is for our Educators! 👏🏼🎭📖
And trust us — they’ve absolutely embraced the challenge! 😂
