Another fortnight – another Icebreaker speech – fun and excitement 6:15pm tomorrow 28 July at CocoBrew (great meals).
At our last meeting, we had an exceptional icebreaker from Lucia, elaborating on the various dynasties of her life.
At the upcoming meeting, we are thrilled to have another icebreaker, this time remotely with Dan.
Experienced speaker, Heather will also be delivering a speech – always exciting to hear.

RBTM Tuesday 14 July 2026 – another icebreaker!
Congratulations to Lucia winning the Best Speech Award at Tuesday’s fortnightly meeting. Our on-line membership is growing – spread across the Region – from Wowan to Bauhinia and Springsure.
Congratulations, too, to Dave as our new President, leading a great team, quickly settling into their respective roles. An honour to have Area 4 Director 26-27, Charlene support our club with her experience.
Goes to show, even when lots of members are traveling, there is lots of fun and opportunity with a smaller group, bolstered by great on-line participation.
Looking forward to Dan’s Icebreaker at our next meeting 6:15 pm Tuesday 28 July at the wonderful Cocobrew, Rockhampton.
Message us for the link.

A large group enjoyed two well prepared and presented Pathways speeches on Tuesday night. Charelene presented a very interesting Educational as part of her Level 4. Complete with graphics credited to Queensland Tourism training for tour Guides, Charlene analysed the different structures that most speeches fit into - great tools to have in your arsenal!
We also elected the new executive for 2026-27 and everyone was invited to the Club Officer Training this Saturday morning at Yeppoon. Message us for details. Next meeting in two weeks on 30 June – agenda is filling fast.

Some of the fun ... Great turn-out for the postponed meeting on Tuesday 12 May. We are back on our two-weekly schedule with our next meeting this Tuesday (19 May) 6:00 pm at CocoBrew Rockhampton – all welcome in person and on-TEAMS (note change of platform – message us for the link).
There is always a first time - last week it was Iris giving her Ice Breaker speech on her first visit to a Toastmasters Club - and in her second language! Winning the Bright Spark award.
Marg stepped in with some great Table Topics for everyone - on her first time back with the club after a few years - and on Zoom.
Alex had everyone smiling with her Pathways speech (great body language and vocal variety even on Zoom) about a long haul flight by a Kiwi!
Charlene provided her experience with very constructive evaluations.
Geoff kept everyone involved with his excellent chairing of proceedings.
