🚧 PRECISION LIFT AT BOULDER CREEK WIND FARM 🚧

Big gear, tight tolerances and a job that had to be done right.

The CQ Crane Hire team recently completed the lift and placement of this substation at Boulder Creek Wind Farm — requiring careful planning, precision rigging and great communication from start to finish.

The substation was lifted smoothly into position and landed perfectly on the prepared structure. 👌🏗️

And just a little cheeky reminder… 😉
When the last supplier couldn’t perform, they called CQ Cranes. 💪

A massive effort from our crane crew, riggers and everyone involved on site. This is what happens when you have the right people, the right equipment and a team that knows how to get the job done.

I'm thrilled to participate in the 'Hoist For Hospice' 2026! 🏗️ This extraordinary event will lift me to new heights, raising vital funds for the Fitzroy Community Hospice

On Wednesday, 13 May 2026, I'll be hoisted 8-20 meters into the air inside the work box at CQLX Gracemere, the event starts at 6.30am, but I will be hoisted at 8.30am, visible from the Capricorn Highway (I must also mention this.... I'm scared of heights). To descend back down, I must reach a fundraising goal of $5,000 for the Hospice!
This empowering FUNdraising event will amplify the provision of palliative care and bereavement support services in Central Queensland. As a local charity, every dollar raised will stay local, benefiting our community. Please help me soar to new heights and support this incredible cause.
