Our immersion in Science continued after lunch with a visit to the Planetarium and the Brisbane Botanical Gardens.

🎶 A Morning Full of Music! 🎶

What a fantastic morning our students had enjoying a special performance from the talented North Rockhampton State High School Instrumental Music students as part of their Book Week Primary School Tour! 🎻🎺🥁

Our students absolutely loved the concert - there were big smiles, lots of clapping and even plenty of singing along to some familiar songs! 🎤🎶 It was wonderful to see everyone so engaged and enjoying the experience.

A huge thank you to the NRSHS students and Instrumental Music team for sharing their talents with us and bringing the joy of live music to our school. 💙

It was such a fun and memorable way to continue our Book Week celebrations - Symphony of Stories! 📚🎶

Next stop this morning- Museum of Queensland.

Spark Lab this morning. Lots of opportunity to learn through hands-on Science activities.

Ended our day with a night stroll along Southbank and a bus singalong on the way home.

To finish off the afternoon we visited Commissariat Store where Year 6 learnt about the role convicts played in building the warehouse in the colonial era.

Lunch in the Brisbane Botanical Gardens, followed by engaging with the virtual screens at QUT Cube, and a tour of the beautiful Old Government House.

Next stop today, an interesting guided tour of the Museum of Brisbane.
