End of an era 💛

Today marks my very last day of Cottage Kids after 3 wonderful years. What an incredible journey it has been — filled with laughter, learning, and the most amazing families and children I could have ever hoped to work with.

I’m so grateful for every moment, every smile, and every little milestone shared along the way. Thank you to all the families who trusted me to be part of their children’s early years — it has truly meant the world.

While it’s bittersweet to say goodbye, I’m excited for what comes next and the new adventures ahead.

❤️👃 Red Nose Day! 👃❤️

Today we joined in on Red Nose Day by making our very own red nose collages – using everything red we could find! The children had so much fun exploring textures, colours, and getting creative with their art. 🎨✨

Red Nose Day is a special day dedicated to raising awareness and funds to help prevent the deaths of babies and support families affected by the loss of a child. By taking part, we’re helping spread the message of hope, support, and the importance of community. 💕

I have a daycare spot available on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 7:30am – 4:00pm.
I’m looking for a new little friend 18 months+ to join our fun, nurturing, and play-based environment for the full 3 days 💕

We enjoy a variety of activities each week – from crafts, sensory play, outdoor adventures, story time, gymnastics, excursions and group experiences that support learning and friendships.

🌼 Daffodil Day 🌼
Today we joined in Daffodil Day to support the Cancer Council. Ben and Elsie painted their very own daffodils, using an old egg carton for the flower’s middle. Such a simple but meaningful craft to celebrate a flower that represents hope and resilience for those affected by cancer 💛

🎉 Term 3 of Gymnastics has begun, and we were so excited to be back!

Today’s session was bursting with fun as we explored colours and counting through movement and play. From colourful obstacle courses to counting our jumps and steps, it was a perfect mix of learning and active fun! 🌈🤸‍♂️🧮

🐻✨ Teddy Bears Picnic Fun! ✨🐻

Today was our Teddy Bears Picnic and what a magical day it was! The children brought along their special teddies from home to join in the fun. 🧸💛

We baked cupcakes, enjoyed a delicious chocolate cake that was kindly brought in (yum!), and got creative with some teddy-themed collaging crafts. 🎨🧁🍫

To top off our special day, each child was presented with their very own Teddy Bears Picnic certificate! What a lovely way to celebrate a day full of smiles, creativity, and cuddly friends. 💫
