📚 Book Week Parade 📚

A reminder that our Book Week Parade is on this Thursday 27 August at 9:00am!

We can’t wait to see everyone dressed as their favourite book characters and celebrate our love of books and reading together.

Parents and families are welcome to come along and join us!

Steps to Stability
We are excited to be offering Steps to Stability at Depot Hill State School during Term 4. This FREE 8-week practical and interactive program is designed for parents and carers of children under 8 years and focuses on building resilience and stability for families. Sessions will explore topics including goal setting, health and wellbeing, self-care and motivation, nurturing healthy relationships and managing everyday household stressors.
Sessions will be held Tuesdays from 9:00am–11:00am in the Community Hub, commencing 13 October 2026. If you are interested in participating, please complete the Expression of Interest return slip and return it to the school office. We would love to see our families take advantage of this wonderful opportunity.

Congratulations to our wonderful award recipients from Monday’s parade! Well done to all of our students who were recognised for their fantastic efforts, positive choices and achievements. We are very proud of you. Keep up the great work!

Friday Sport:
Our Friday Sport sessions have now wrapped up for the term. A big thank you to our students for their wonderful participation and enthusiasm. There will be no further Friday Sport sessions this term.

School Camp – Years 4, 5 & 6:
Exciting times are ahead for our Year 4, 5 and 6 students, with camp forms coming home soon. Please keep an eye out for these and return the required paperwork by the nominated dates so we can get everything organised for a fantastic camp experience.
