Nothing says ‘ready for morning duty’ like a hi-vis vest and here's our crew trying theirs on.

We're gonna leave the fashion advice for our young people to give.

Sometimes, working during school holidays means you're on "plant baby duties". 🌿🌱

This year, October 10th is extra special. Not only are we celebrating our birthday but it's World Mental Health Day too. 💙

As we celebrate a decade of learning, growth, and community, we also want to pause and reflect on the importance of looking after our mental health. Just as our school has grown stronger with the support of our community, so too do we grow when we take care of our wellbeing and support each other.

Saturday the 4th of October marks the first day of Queensland Mental Health week but for now, we’re sharing a Calendar from Mental Health Australia full of simple, practical ideas to help us care for our wellbeing - not just this month but every day.

Let’s celebrate together by:
🧡 Checking in on ourselves and others
💚 Finding joy in the small moments
💛 Supporting and uplifting one another

Ten years of growth and change. This shed coming down represents more than just a new space - it represents the journey. Here's Cedi, who has been with Rocky Flexi since even before we moved to this site, watching the shed come down and making way for the next chapter of our story.

💚💛🧡Shout out to Truespan Buildings and Shed for getting it done!

Watch this space - it will look VERY different soon!!!!

Ever wondered what we get up during school holidays?

But honestly, we prefer hanging out with our young people - so save us from the holiday clean up and come drop in for a visit between 9am and 2pm.

Also, in case you're wondering, the holiday program activities for next week are:
- 🏄‍♀️ Surfing on Monday with Jordan
- 🏊‍♀️ Swimming on Tuesday with Siale
- 🎣 Fishing on Wednesday with Cedric.

A massive thank you to everyone who came out and celebrated with us at our Rocky Flexi NAIDOC 3-on-3 Basketball Comp 2025! From the energy on the court to the support from the sidelines — you made this a day to remember.

This year’s NAIDOC theme, “The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy,” celebrates the power of our young leaders, the strength of our community, and the legacy we continue to build together.

This event was more than just a game — it was a celebration of culture, connection, and inclusion. We’re proud to have created a space where everyone felt welcome and part of the moment.

🎥 Check out the highlight reel below to see a glimpse of some of the magic.

📸 And there’s more to come! We’ll be sharing photos over the next few days, so keep an eye out and tag your family and friends.
