Hi all,

I’m sure if you are in Rocky currently completing res school or have completed a res school in rocky in the Month of June you would know that Rae is doing the push-up challenge! (Mostly because it means you also get to do pushups throughout the day!)

Today is day 7 meaning 103 pushups, this represents that only 1 in 3 young people believe they’ll be able to afford a comfortable place to live next year

Although the challenge has begun you can still sign up via the website as it’ll be running 4th June - 26th June!

On Thursday, Mia, Xander, Bree, Alex and Lilly attended the Rocky Girls brigade night to teach CPR and basic first aid! (We think everyone had a lot of fun participating in the CPR relay - what do you think?)
It was great to be able to use the LAC resources for this!!

Meet: Kaitlyn and Alex

Kaitlyn and Alex are second year students based out of the Rockhampton campus, together they have created a lifeblood team for everyone to get behind the team is called ‘CQUniversity’ so join the team next time you donate!

Why should you donate Blood or Plasma?
- Plasma can be used in 18 different ways, this includes; fighting infections, blood disorders and help stop critical bleeding!
- Blood can be used in cancer treatments, trauma patients and surgeries, just to name a few!

We are hoping to organise a group donation so keep your eyes peeled! 👀
