RIIMPO205E β Operate Roller/Compactor
This nationally recognised training unit provides participants with the skills and knowledge to operate a roller/compactor safely and efficiently. Training is delivered by qualified trainers and assessors, ensuring practical experience meets industry standards.
Course Outcome
βοΈ Upon successful completion, participants will receive a Statement of Attainment for RIIMPO206E β Operate Roller/Compactor.
You will learn how to:
Conduct pre-operational checks and equipment inspections
Perform pushing, spreading, cutting, and levelling tasks
Complete shutdown procedures and basic maintenance
Requirements
Learners must be at least 15 years old
Completion of a Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital (LLND) skills assessment prior to commencing
PPE may be required

CPCWHS1001 β Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry
This nationally recognised training provides the essential work health and safety knowledge required before entering or carrying out construction work in Australia. It is commonly known as White Card training.
The course is suitable for new workers, apprentices, contractors, tradespeople, owner-builders and anyone who may need to enter an operational construction site.
During the training, participants will learn how to:
Identify common construction hazards and understand workplace risks
Apply basic risk-control measures
Understand workplace health and safety responsibilities
Recognise safety signs, symbols and required personal protective equipment
Respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies
Report hazards, injuries and unsafe work practices
Participants must successfully complete all required theory and practical assessment activities. Those who are assessed as competent will receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment for CPCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry and the applicable General Construction Induction Card, subject to eligibility and jurisdictional requirements.
Please wear suitable closed-in footwear and bring the required identification, including your Unique Student Identifier (USI). Additional course requirements will be confirmed when booking.

Successful candidates receive a Statement of Attainment and the applicable assessment documentation. Candidates must apply separately to Workplace Health and Safety Queensland for the RB licence class. Licence issue is not guaranteed by the RTO.
