Our 4-Year-Old Kinder children have been strengthening their numeracy and problem-solving skills through a fun hands-on Roll & Count experience!

Children rolled the dice, recognised the number and then used connecting cubes to count, build and match the quantity. Through play, they explored number recognition, one-to-one correspondence, counting and early mathematical thinking while also developing concentration and persistence.

A wonderful example of how play-based learning makes mathematics meaningful, engaging and fun! 🌟🧮

💛 R U OK? Day in Our Kinder Hub 💛

Today our Kinder children explored the importance of checking in with one another, recognising emotions and showing kindness and care for the people around us.

Through meaningful discussions, emotion resources and sensory experiences, the children explored different feelings and practised the simple but powerful question, “Are you OK?” These experiences supported children to build emotional awareness, empathy and confidence in expressing how they feel. 🌼

A beautiful reminder that even our youngest learners can learn to notice, listen, care and connect. 💛

Celebrating International Literacy Day in our 3-Year-Old Kinder! 📚✨

Our little learners explored the wonderful world of letters through hands-on matching, recognising and manipulating alphabet symbols. 🔤💛 Experiences like these encourage children to build early literacy skills, strengthen letter recognition, develop confidence and spark curiosity about language and communication.

Our centre was filled with smiles, laughter and special moments as we celebrated Father’s Day & Special Person’s Day! ✨

Across each of our hubs, children welcomed their dads, grandfathers and special people to enjoy a beautiful afternoon tea, hands-on activities, shared stories, creative experiences and our fun photo booth. 📚🎨📸

It was wonderful to see our children proudly sharing their learning spaces and creating special memories with the important people in their lives. 💙

Literacy Learning Across Our Kinder Hub! ✨📚

Our Kinder children have been immersed in meaningful literacy experiences across both our indoor and outdoor environments. From shared discussions and group learning to drawing, mark-making and exploring print in everyday spaces, children are building their confidence to communicate ideas, recognise symbols, express their thinking and engage with early reading and writing.

Our children explored Australia’s beautiful Golden Wattle through a bright and engaging painting experience. Inspired by the vibrant yellow blooms, they experimented with colour, texture and creative expression while developing an appreciation for Australia’s natural environment. 🇦🇺🌿

A very special little visitor at our centre this week! 💛🐾

Our Centre Director’s adorable fur baby, Simba, came by to say hello, and it’s safe to say he completely stole everyone’s hearts! 🐶🥰

The children were filled with excitement and curiosity as they watched Simba, greeted him and learned about being gentle, caring and respectful towards animals. Such a beautiful opportunity to build connections with the world around us while creating some very special memories. 🌿✨

Our 3-year-old Kinder children enjoyed a wonderful visit from Greater Western Water, exploring where our water comes from, why it is so precious, and the simple ways we can care for and conserve water every day. 🌏💦

Through engaging storytelling, discussion and hands-on learning, the children shared their ideas, asked questions and built their understanding of sustainability and caring for our environment.

A meaningful community connection that supported our little learners to become responsible and environmentally aware citizens. 🌱💙

What an amazing way to wrap up our Book Week celebrations! Our centre came alive with favourite storybook and cartoon characters, with children and educators dressing up and stepping into a world of imagination. 🐝👑🤠🦸‍♂️

From superheroes to princesses and much-loved characters, the day was filled with laughter, excitement, creativity and magical moments. 💛

A beautiful celebration of storytelling, imagination and the joy of books — the perfect ending to a wonderful Book Week at Aspire Deanside! 📖✨
