COLLEGE & OSHC CLOSED | Please see the below communication from the college confirming that our closure will continue for Monday 10 March.

UPDATE FROM THE PRINCIPAL | 9 MARCH 2.45PM

Dear parents - I hope that this message finds you safe and dry and that any damage to families is limited.

After a brief tour of the campus by some of our staff, and the fact that we don’t have power onsite, I have made the decision to close the College (including OSHC) for Monday, 10 March.

Without power for extended periods of time, we are unable to run classes safely, and while the campus has remained relatively unscathed, there are some clean up works that are needed.

Please continue to keep safe and we hope to welcome everyone back to the College on Tuesday 11 March.

We ask for your assistance to share this message as all other College communications are currently unavailable.

COLLEGE CLOSURE - THURSDAY 6 & FRIDAY 7 MARCH | In line with the Queensland Premier's direction regarding schools, Redeemer Lutheran College will be closed on Thursday 6 March and Friday 7 March.
The safety and welfare of our staff and students is our top priority. To our families, please check your emails as our Principal, Mr Schumacher, has sent an important update.

At this stage we anticipate the College to re-open on Monday 10 March. Any updates will be communicated over the weekend.

VACATION CARE | From excursions, incursions and themed days at OSHC, we have been having lots of fun! We can’t wait to see what the rest of Summer Vacation Care brings!

CALAMVALE DISTRACT PARK | On 4 December, the Middles ventured to Calamvale District Park. The children engaged in free play opportunities, allowing them to explore their surroundings. From climbing, swinging and engineering a dam in the stream, the children had a great day filled with fun!

RECENTLY AT OSHC | Take a look at all the fun we’ve been getting up to at OSHC! We’ve been having fun doing science experiments, crafts and so much more!

MESSY PLAY | The Juniors have been exploring, creating and getting their hands dirty while having fun. From splashing in water play to getting creative with sand and mud, the Juniors are learning through playing and loving every moment!

TERM 4 | Check out some highlights from the past two weeks at OSHC! 📸 We’ve had an amazing time filled with fun activities and great moments. Here’s a glimpse of all the laughter, learning, and creativity!

THROWBACK THURSDAY | During Vacation Care, the Seniors participated in a plant and sip incursion. Similar to the Juniors and Middles, the children were welcomed to Tchooyah Telee with refreshing peach iced tea. The Seniors learnt about the water cycle, photosynthesis, indoor plants and the role of each layer in a terrarium. After that, the children made their very own terreriums in glass jars to take home!

PLANT & SIP INCURSION | On Tuesday and Wednesday, the Juniors and Middles took part in a Plant and Sip incursion at Tchooyah Telee. Upon arrival, the children were welcomed with refreshing peach ice tea. Sabrina, the incursion leader, talked to the children about the basics of plant survival, photosynthesis, pollination and propagation. The children then enjoyed decorating a terracotta pot and planting a succulent to take home. Thank you, EnviroMentoring, we had so much fun!
