What makes YOU smile? 😊

Think about the things that make you feel happy, safe, calm or excited. It could be:

🌻 A favourite place
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Your family or friends
🐶 A much-loved pet
⚽ A sport or activity you love
🎵 Music, dancing or creativity
🌏 Your culture or community
💭 A special memory
✨ Or something completely unique to you!

This year's Art of Wellbeing Primary theme is:

There is no right or wrong answer! And you can create it however you like! Drawing, painting, photography, digital art, collage, sculpture, textiles, craft, mixed media and more — all art forms are welcome.

It was fantastic to see local professionals come together to connect, meet new people and strengthen relationships across our community.

Thank you to White Ribbon Australia, the Strengthening Community Access, Inclusion and Wellbeing Advisory Committee for supporting the visit, and everyone who helped make the evening possible.

📚 FREE BOOK GROUP FOR ROBINVALE STUDENTS AGED 10+!

Looking for something a little different after school? The Local Chapter is coming to Robinvale with two free pop-up book group sessions for students aged 10 years and over.

Students will read and explore Running in Circles by Shivaun Plozza, with conversations around belonging, identity, place, climate, connection and creating change.

📅 Monday 7 September | 4:00–5:30pm
📅 Monday 5 October | 4:00–5:30pm
📍 Robinvale Library & Learning Hub

✨ Completely FREE
📖 A free copy of the book is provided — collect it from the library beforehand or have it posted to your home
🍎 Snacks provided
🙌 Led by two experienced facilitators

A great opportunity for local young people who enjoy reading, sharing ideas, asking questions and looking at the world in new ways.

📍 Where can you find the Our Place Robinvale team?

We’re out and about across Robinvale and Euston throughout the school week, making it easier for families and community members to find us, have a chat and connect with support.

Whether you see us at Robinvale College, Euston Public School or St Mary’s School, you’re always welcome to come and say hello.

📞 All three of us are contactable during school business hours, regardless of where we are working that day.

Our locations are a general guide and may change depending on meetings, community activities and other tasks. If you can’t find us, please give us a call!

Today, Euston Public School held their Parent/Teacher Interviews — an important opportunity for families and educators to connect, share, and work together to support children’s learning and wellbeing. 💛

Taking a holistic approach to supporting families, parents and carers were also reminded of the importance of taking some time out to fill their own cup. 🌿

We’d like to extend that reminder to everyone: make some time for yourself. It doesn’t have to be hours — even 10 minutes to pause, breathe, have a cuppa, go for a walk, listen to music or simply sit quietly can make a difference. ☕💚

And remember, if you or someone you know could use a little extra support or some time out, the staff at Our Place and Welcome Day always have an open door. 🚪💛

If we can’t provide the support you need, we can help connect you with someone who can.

Looking after ourselves is an important part of looking after our families and our community.
