Robertson Public School Where Tradition Meets Innovation

At Robertson Public School, we believe in the power of an intimate, high-quality education. Nestled in the stunning Southern Highlands, we offer a "best of both worlds" experience: the warmth and safety of a close-knit semi-rural community, backed by the sophisticated resources of a forward-thinking 21st-century school.

A Legacy of Excellence
With a stable enrolment of approximately 150 students, we pride ourselves on being a place where every child is known, valued, and cared for. We aren’t just a school; we are a community with 150 years of history, dedicated to nurturing the next generation of resilient learners and creative problem-solvers.

Our Strategic Commitment to Your Child
We don't just teach; we r

efine our craft to ensure your child excels. Our vision is built on four key pillars:

Effective Classroom Practice: We use high-impact, explicit teaching strategies. This means our teachers use proven, evidence-based methods to ensure students make significant gains in Literacy and Numeracy.

- Student Wellbeing: Through programs like The Resilience Project, we ensure our students are emotionally supported and ready to take on life’s challenges.

- A Culture of Learning: We foster an environment where curiosity is celebrated and high expectations are the norm for every student.

- Data-Driven Growth: We don't guess—we assess. Our teachers are experts at using data to pinpoint exactly where your child is and what they need to reach the next level.

Why Families Choose Robertson
While we are a high-achieving school (reflected in our strong socio-economic demographic and ICSEA 1043 ranking), we remain deeply grounded. From our vibrant Instrumental Music program and STEAM initiatives (including robotics and VR) to our Aboriginal education programs and support for High Potential and Gifted students, we provide a holistic education that prepares children for the world beyond the Highlands.

Join Our Story
We invite you to experience the Robertson difference—a school where "Big Dreams" start in a caring, small-school setting.

SAVE THE DATE - Father's Day Stall Assembly & Sausage Sizzle - Friday, 4th September

Join us in celebrating all the wonderful Dad and carers in our school community and supporting the Lowndes family on Friday, 4th September.

After the success of the Mother’s Day stall we are calling for donations for a Father's Day stall. Any items would be gratefully received and can be dropped off at the office. All items will available for purchase at school on the day.

We’re also looking for a few volunteers to help on the day with the stall and sausage sizzle so please contact [email protected] if you are able to lend a hand.

The Sausage sizzle will followed by a heartfelt Assembly, where our students will take a moment to recognise and celebrate all the incredible things Dad's and carers do for us every day.

All proceeds raised from the day will be donated to the Lowndes family in memory of Wade.

We'd love to see you there! 💕
