GOOD NEWS FROM ROBERTSON PUBLIC SCHOOL P&C!

Our cookbook has officially arrived!

We are SO excited to finally have this special community project in our hands and can’t wait to share it with you all.

Stay tuned! We will be sharing all the details about our official book launch very soon.

In the meantime, we are putting out a little call to our wonderful community…

Do you have a book stand that you no longer need?

We are looking for book stands to help us display the cookbooks at various locations around town. If you have one you’d be happy to donate or lend to us, we would love to hear from you!

Hi everyone, we're still seeking volunteers for the Father's Day festivities on Fri, 4th Sep. So far, we've only had one person put their hand up and we need some more to be able to go ahead with the planned stall and sausage sizzle. If you can spare an hour between 9am and approx 1:30pm to lend a hand that would be greatly appreciated. Please email [email protected]. Thank you 🙏

SAVE THE DATE - Father's Day Stall Assembly & Sausage Sizzle - Friday, 4th September

Join us in celebrating all the wonderful Dad and carers in our school community and supporting the Lowndes family on Friday, 4th September.

After the success of the Mother’s Day stall we are calling for donations for a Father's Day stall. Any items would be gratefully received and can be dropped off at the office. All items will available for purchase at school on the day.

We’re also looking for a few volunteers to help on the day with the stall and sausage sizzle so please contact [email protected] if you are able to lend a hand.

The Sausage sizzle will followed by a heartfelt Assembly, where our students will take a moment to recognise and celebrate all the incredible things Dad's and carers do for us every day.

All proceeds raised from the day will be donated to the Lowndes family in memory of Wade.

Canteen Manager – Robertson Public School

We are seeking a new Canteen Manager for our school as Lauren heads off to welcome a new baby. An immediate start is available if suitable, with an assisted handover from the current manager. The position will officially commence in Term 4, with scope for ongoing work into 2027.

This is a paid position of 15 hours per week, with canteen service days currently on Tuesdays and Fridays during the school term. If a different 2 days per week would be more suitable we are open to discussing options for term 4.

The Canteen Manager is responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the canteen. This includes the planning, preparation, and serving of nutritious food and drinks in accordance with food safety regulations and school policies. The role also involves managing stock and budgets, supervising any volunteer helpers, and creating a warm, welcoming environment for students and staff.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be more involved with Robertson Public School and contribute to a much-loved part of school life. Our canteen facilities have recently been upgraded and provide an excellent working environment.

🐔 Volunteers Needed: OMLET Chicken Coop Build Day this SUNDAY from 9:30am 🐔

Big thanks to OMLET for donating a brand-new Eglu Pro Chicken Coop including walk in run & accessories to our school! Now we just need to build it. Luckily it's pretty straight forward. Some parents have built them before, they're easy, just need clipping together so we need some hands to help!

We're looking for a few parents, carers, or community members to help assemble it, no experience needed, just enthusiasm!

📍 Where: School Grounds (entry via Caalong St)

Can spare an hour of two? We'd love to see you there from 9:30am this Sunday. Many hands make light work!
