🌿🚂 Pre-Primary & Year 1 Excursion to Whitman Park! 🚂🌿
What a wonderful day of learning, exploring and adventure! Our Pre-Primary and Year 1 students had a fantastic time discovering what transport was like in the past. 🥰
The children:
👗 Learnt all about transport from the past and had fun dressing up!
🐴 Rode horse carts and enjoyed riding bikes.
🚂 Went on an exciting train ride!
It was a wonderful hands-on experience, bringing history to life and creating lots of happy memories along the way. What a fantastic day!

Today we celebrate and give thanks for the wonderful fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, and special male role models who play such an important part in the lives of our children.
We are grateful for the love, wisdom, encouragement and faith you share with our students each day. Your guidance and example help our children grow in kindness, courage and compassion. 🙏
May God bless all the special men in our school community and fill your day with love, joy and precious moments with your families.

🐨🌿 In Year One this term, we have been learning about Australian animals! 🦘
We’ve also been learning about Laudato Si’ 🌎. This is a special letter written by Pope Francis. ✝️ It reminds us that God gave us a very special world. 🌍✨ It’s our job to look after it! 🌱
We can care for our Earth by using reusable materials ♻️🌿. We collected old newspapers 📰 from home and used them to make these cute koalas! 🐨

CATHOLIC PERFORMING ARTS
From the nerves in the wings to the smiles after the final bow, our Year 2 students shone at the Catholic Schools Performing Arts Festival! 🌟

Our drama performance took the audience on an adventure through a time warp, showcasing expressive speaking and teamwork under the careful guidance of our narrator, Teddy. Along the way, we discovered technology from the past and compared it with the technology we use today. Our learning about the Commandments was highlighted when a rotary phone was stolen, creating an opportunity for students to explore themes of right and wrong. Our Wise Guide, Thomas, stole the show with his amazing portrayal of an old man.

A special highlight was the adjudicator praising our performers as the youngest participants while commending their fabulous dancing skills. 💃✨

We are so proud of every student for their courage, enthusiasm, and outstanding effort.
