WOW! 😲 Another HUGE week from Glynn Webb! 💙

They continue to power ahead and now hold a convincing lead in the Term 3 race. Is anyone going to catch them?! 👀

But while Glynn Webb look comfortable at the top, there is a SERIOUS battle happening for second place...

So who will blink first? Who will surge ahead? And who has been quietly saving their tickets for one final push? 👀

🚨 NEXT WEEK IS THE FINAL WEEK FOR THE TERM 3 TOTALS! 🚨

After that, tickets from Weeks 9 & 10 will roll over into the Term 4 competition.

And remember... EVERY TICKET COUNTS! 🎟️

Even if your team can't take out Term 3, every ticket earned is helping build your team's position in the overall PBL Cup, which will be awarded at the end of the year. 🏆

On Thursday last week, our Year 9/10 students travelled to Balaklava for the Statewide Basketball Carnival. Throughout the day, they demonstrated strong teamwork and sportsmanship, competing against schools from across the region.

Students showed great resilience and determination throughout their games, supporting one another both on and off the court and putting into practice the skills they have been developing in PE.

It was fantastic to see our students represent the school with such enthusiasm and pride. A great day of basketball, competition and plenty of fun!

Last week, our Year 8 students packed their bags and headed off to camp, visiting Woodhouse Adventure Park, Monarto Safari Park and the Whispering Wall!

With a wet start to the week, students were challenged to step outside their comfort zones at Woodhouse Adventure Park, navigating obstacles, tackling the maze and working together to overcome a range of challenges.

At Monarto Safari Park, we set up camp and tents at the Indaba Bush Camp, with the students persevering through the challenging conditions and (minor) flooding. Throughout the three days, the Year 8s developed their teamwork and leadership skills while learning more about sustainability, conservation and the important efforts being made to protect endangered animals and their habitats.

Our final stop was the Whispering Wall, where students had the opportunity to observe some serious engineering and discover how the unique design of the wall allows sound to travel across an incredible distance!

It was a fantastic week filled with adventure, challenges, learning and plenty of memories. A huge well done to our Year 8 students for embracing the experience, supporting one another and making the most of every opportunity!

The latest PBL ticket count is in, and the gap is growing! 😱

But the big question is...

👀 Has Glynn Webb’s lead become too big to chase down?

❤️ Jeffery and 💚 Castine — what have you got left in the tank? Is there another late charge coming? A surprise comeback? A last-minute ticket explosion?! 🎟️💥

BUT... before anyone starts thinking about putting their feet up, remember:

🏆 EVERY. SINGLE. TICKET. COUNTS!

Even if Glynn Webb have built a lead that is too big to chase down this term, those tickets are still contributing to the overall PBL Cup, which will be awarded at the end of the year!

So this is NOT the time to slack off! 😂

📚✨ It’s Book Week! ✨📚

It was fantastic to see so many students dressed up today and bringing their favourite books and characters to life!

This morning, Ms Packer, Grace, Andre and Jake headed over to Riverton Primary School to join their Book Week parade and read to the Junior Primary classes. 📖❤️

A wonderful way to celebrate the joy of reading and our great school community! 🌟

Yesterday, students from RDHS met with mentors from Ernst & Young in the city. The ABCN program called Find Your Purpose is designed to equip students with the understanding of what is important to them and the confidence to follow their passions. It was an opportunity to take a peek into the corporate world. Our students behaved impeccably and commented positively about the impact it had on them.
