After a long break, we're excited to announce that Playgroup is returning this term at Saddleworth and Riverton!

Join us for a fun and relaxed morning of play, exploration, and connection with other local families.

📍 Saddleworth ELC (even weeks of term) and Riverton Kindy (odd weeks of term)

🌟 Mid-Year Intake (MYI) – Registration of Interest Now Open! 🌟

Do you have a child who will have turned 3 or 4 years old on or before 31 October 2026? They may be eligible to begin preschool with us in Term 3 through Mid-Year Intake.

Children who commence as 4-year-olds access their funded year of preschool prior to starting school. Children who commence as 3-year-olds may be eligible for up to 8 terms (two years) of preschool.

Our play-based program supports children to develop confidence, build friendships, strengthen communication skills and grow as capable learners in a safe and welcoming environment.

As a Department for Education preschool, placements are offered in line with DfE enrolment and eligibility criteria. Submitting a Registration of Interest does not guarantee a place but is the first step in the enrolment process.

At Riverton Kindergarten & Rural Care, our outdoor environment is a vital part of children’s learning and wellbeing.

We’re fundraising to purchase new plants and fruit trees so our children can experience hands-on gardening, seasonal change, and caring for living things — all within our own garden.

By supporting our bulb fundraiser, you’re helping us:

➡️create shaded, welcoming outdoor play spaces
➡️grow fruit the children can harvest and enjoy
➡️teach sustainability, responsibility and connection to nature
