🌟 Exciting change is happening at our school! 🌟

We are happy to announce that planning for Riverton Primary School’s Girls toilet block replacement is underway!

We will continue to keep you updated as the project progresses, including concept designs of what our brand new toilets will look like. We know it has been a long wait, but good things are coming!

Registrations for the Gilbert Valley Bucks 2026/27 season are officially OPEN!

This season, we’re aiming to field separate boys’ and girls’ teams in every junior age group - U10, U12, U14, U16 and U18 - as well as Senior Men’s and Senior Women’s teams across A, B and C Grades.
Whether you’re returning for another season or keen to join the Bucks for the first time *you will not be the only one*, we’d love to have you! Every registration helps us build full teams across all age groups and grades.

School photos will be taken on Tuesday, the 25th of August.

All the information you need regarding the photo packages will be online. Please follow

Ordering Process

We have two online options for ordering your school photos.

Please note: Sibling photographs are only available via Option 1 and must be ordered
no later than 5 pm on the day prior to photo day. Sibling photos will only be
taken for those families who have pre-ordered.



OPTION 1 – Order before photo day

With this option, we will select the best image for inclusion in your photo pack.

OPTION 2 – Order after photo day

With this option, you can view the selected image before deciding to place an order.
(You can also register to get a preview of the images, even if you pre-ordered)

few weeks after photo day as we need to get group photos approved by the school and

🌟 What’s On at Riverton Primary This Week! 🌟

It’s a big week ahead with plenty happening around our school community!
Please remember that Tuesday is School Photo Day, so all students should wear their full school uniform and look their best. Families are warmly invited to join us for our Book Week parade and community walk on Wednesday – we’d love to see you there!

SAPSASA Athletics Day
A difficult decision to cancel tomorrow’s Athletics Carnival at Saddleworth has been made, after much consultation by the executive group.

Unfortunately, the ongoing wet weather and expected rain tomorrow at Saddleworth mean it is not possible to safely hold the carnival. The safety of our students is our highest priority.
