Upcoming availability variations

Just a quick update on a few dates I will not be available for due to either wedding events (eg bridal shower) or appointments (eg dress alterations).

I will do my best to do as much outside regular lessons, but at times, it will be unavoidable.

The current list looking forward is:
- August 15th (Saturday), I will still be able to do my 9am and 10am sessions
- September 12th (Saturday), all day
- September 13th (Sunday), all day
- September 27th (Sunday), all day

Timetable availability for term 3

Please note:
- all lessons are conducted via zoom, the code remains the same each week
- orange pending: has been offered, just awaiting confirmation
- black N/A: unavailable due to school/personal commitments
- green available: open for bookings, please note these do go in order to avoid gaps in the timetable
- yellow flex time: open for bookings but must be flexible for school/personal commitments
- yellow short term: each session will have its own specifications on how long it is available

I am also opening spaces for 1 off lessons during unbooked sessions. For more details on this, send a message through.

As sessions change, I will edit and reupload the timetable to provide current openings as best I can.

Understanding yellow sessions:
- Friday 7:30pm: this spot is a one off booking only spot
- All remaining weekend sessions are now on a one off basis until after the wedding and move as this time will be dedicated to getting everything ready

An additional temporary note: I get married in the next school holidays, so over the next 2 months, I may at times be unavailable for regular sessions if I have an event or appointment. Where possible I will offer alternative sessions that week.

I have added a bonus colour for the next few months. Purple spots belong to existing year 12 students. Once they have completed their exams, these spots will open up for the remainder of term 4.

Congratulations on a well deserved result Billi!

Billi started with me this year and has shown dedication to her studies, even opting for sessions at 8:30 the night before exams just to fit one in.

This dedication, and her strong use of feedback, has seen her earn the marks she is truely capable of. She should be very proud of herself this week.

📢 Calling all enthusiastic NSW Year 11 biologists and ocean lovers!

Have you ever wondered what fish get up to in their spare time? Would you like to learn more about how corals grow and shape our reefs? If this sounds like you, we invite you to apply for one of 16 places on the Lizard Island Coral Reef Study Tour 2026, which will be held in the October school holidays (4th to 11th of October 2026). 🐠🌊

The Lizard Island Coral Reef Study Tour is an immersive, educational experience in coral reef science led by marine scientists at our research station in the northern Great Barrier Reef. 🏝️

“Participating in LICRST was an eye-opening experience. I never truly understood the intricacies of coral reefs until I witnessed their extent first hand. What amazed me most was their remarkable ability to recover from adversity.” – 2023 Lizard Island Coral Reef Study Tour Student participant.

Do you have a child who has already completed their first year of University or tafe? If they are continuing this year then they may be eligible!

💻 Applications are now open for the 2026 Tertiary Scholarship Program. 💻

We award Tertiary Scholarships of $1,500 to 15 successful applicants who have completed at least 1 year of a current enrolment at a recognised Tertiary Institution by the end of the 2025.

➡️ Applicants must be residents of the City of Blacktown and provide a copy of all academic transcripts relating to their current studies.

➡️ Applicants must have completed the full year of study in 2025 and must be continuing their studies in 2026.

Applications will close at 5.30 pm on Friday 1 May 2026. 📅
