Grade 10 students participated in a Transition Day as they prepare for 2027 and beyond. They spent time working on their Transition Plans, choosing possible courses and options as they explore future pathways.

Thank you to our guests from Launceston College - Tasmania, Australia, Newstead College, Exeter High School and Queechy High School plus Dan Hart from DECYP and Alyssia Kennedy from Upturned Tasmania for their insight and guidance.

Prefect at Riverside Primary School Book Week

Yesterday, our prefects Breanna, Frank, Innes and Hayden did an outstanding job supporting Riverside Primary School’s Book Week celebrations. From assisting at the Readers’ Picnic and Character Parade to presenting prizes at the Book Week Assembly, they were fantastic ambassadors further building our strong connection with the primary school. This year’s CBCA theme, “Symphony of Stories,” highlighted the magic of reading and imagination. A huge congratulations also to 4AP for their amazing assembly, performances, and the crowd-favourite Dear Zoo song. The teachers’ Dear Zoo costumes were a highlight too. Well done everyone on a wonderful celebration of stories and creativity!

Grade 9 Transition
This week, our Grade 9 Transition Mentors welcomed students from Legana Primary School for their first mentor visit. The visit included getting to know you activities, a lock challenge, and plenty of chocolate prizes! It was fantastic to see positive connections already forming. We look forward to future visits, including classroom experiences in our option classes and welcoming students back for Orientation Day in Term 4.
