Our two Year 9 Robotics classes have been designing, building and coding their robots for 8 weeks, to prepare for participation in the Rocket League Competition.

Over two lunchtimes, the students used their robots to play 'robot downball' (think soccer) and did a fantastic job.

Yesterday our Student Voice and Agency prefects ran their second Mentoring Club session!

Year 7-9 students had the opportunity to hang out, enjoy snacks, play fun board games and chat with Year 12s. The session was a huge success, providing younger students with the opportunity to ask questions, gain support and advice and build meaningful relationships across our school. Thank you to all the staff and prefects who got involved and helped out!

Are you a Maroondah resident with artwork to enter?

Members of the Maroondah community are invited to exhibit and sell their original artwork at the Maroondah Art Fair, held at Central Ringwood Community Centre on 17 & 18 October 2026.
You can enter up to two works, with no commission on sales. Entries close 18 September 2026.

Congratulations to our Senior Boys Netball team on being crowned STATE CHAMPIONS today. The boys played with poise and discipline across the day, winning the final 19-14.

Thank you to Rach, Deb, Jason and coach Hayley on all their efforts to get the boys where they are today.

Shoutout to Year 11 student Liam who missed playing today, being in transit back from Basketball Without Borders in Turkey, but was an integral part at Division and Region.

Term 3 has been a busy start for Region Sport. A special mention to our Year 7 Boys Netball team and Senior Girls AFL team who both made the Region final this week, but fell short of progressing through to State. Both teams showed great skill, teamwork, sportsmanship, school spirit and enthusiasm across their tournaments. Congratulations!
