Term 2 has been a big term for Division sport, with many students representing the college.

Last week, 67 students represented Ringwood in Division Cross Country at HE Parker. It was a fantastic day, with 56 of our students qualifying for Regional Cross Country and Ringwood coming away with the overall win!
We had many runners come top 3 in their age groups, congratulations to the following students:

Good luck to Year 11 Lucy who is competing in the Commonwealth Games trials this week in Sydney. Lucy is swimming in the 50m, 400m, 800m and 1500m freestyle events and all events can be watched on 9Now.

We, the students at Ringwood Secondary College pay our respects to elders past, present and emerging and promise to learn to live in a community that is part of the oldest living culture on Earth and move forward together to a place of equity, justice and partnership.
In recognition of Sorry Day, each student created and contributed a symbolic hand to plant in the indigenous garden at the front of the school.

IDAHOBIT Day stands for International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biphobia, it is a day to celebrate inclusion and diversity. At Ringwood Secondary College we celebrate our LGBTIQ+ community and acknowledge that we are all part of making a safe and inclusive community.

To the Year 9 students who presented and participated in the personal project expo held yesterday, congratulations!! Your creativity and dedication shone through in every piece - whether it was creative writing or publishing, vibrant art, expressive music, personal improvement priorities in sports or health, delicious baking, clever construction or reconstructions, or detailed research. You were amazing!
A heartfelt thankâyou to the staff whose encouragement and support helped make your projects so positive and possible. You should all be incredibly proud of what you showcased to your families and school community.

Our Athletics Carnival remains one of the highlights of the school year. Congratulations to Freeman House for finishing first overall on the day. It was a fantastic event enjoyed by both students and staff, with the competition as close as ever.
Well done to all participants, and a sincere thank you to the staff who helped organise and run such a successful day.
