STRINGS SHOWCASE
Yarra’s Strings Showcase brought together musicians from Foundation through to the Symphony Orchestra for a wonderful evening of music. Featuring 11 performances from our string ensembles and student soloists, the showcase celebrated the talent, development and dedication of our musicians. On Saturday night, a sold-out Foundation Hall came alive for Jazz@Yarra 2026. Students from across Junior, Middle and Senior School took to the stage, showcasing our outstanding Jazz, instrumental and vocal ensembles, including the Yarra Valley Grammar All Star Combo. FORaMEAL
Our Year 11 students recently partnered with the Rotary Clubs of Canterbury and Maroondah to make a life-changing impact to people in need. Staff and students rolled up their sleeves to measure, pack and stack over 40,000 meals to send to people within Australia and beyond our shores.

YEAR 7 HUMANITIES
Year 7 students attended the ROME: Empire Power People Ancient Rome Exhibition at Melbourne Museum as part of their study of Ancient Civilisations. They participated in an Investigating the Roman Empire workshop developing skills on how to interpret ancient artefacts. They also furthered their understanding of Ancient Rome while exploring the Exhibition.
