Child Advisory Group 🙌

This week the children were asked to look at a beautiful indigenous print and give their observations on what it might represent. They had a go at doing some of their own drawing as well. We had some great answers, such as:

💛 ‘I think the Yuggera people painted this’
❤️ ‘Those circles are a bit like group time’
🖤 ‘The circles might mean the people sitting around in different places. And being on the land we learn and play’
💚 ‘It might mean yes to the land, and thank you to all the people’

🐟 We were very happy to win first place in the Sea of Fish challenge set by the Education Team of Little Locals this year. Hats off to our amazing Educational Leader Miss Theresa for leading the way!
🖤 Celebrating NAIDOC Week by integrating this challenge into our program was a great way to bring authenticity and intentionality into the celebration.
