What has been coming into view is now revealed. ✨

As a part of the Sydney Catholic Schools community, we are all united by a shared mission to provide Catholic education deeply anchored in faith, marked by educational excellence and accessible to all who seek it.

Inspired by the beauty and symmetry of the rose window of St Mary’s Cathedral, the new Sydney Catholic Schools logo shifts the focus from Sydney’s iconic landmarks to the spiritual heart of the Archdiocese which connects us.

It lives in our students, our staff and our families across Greater Sydney and is reflected in the way we learn and walk together.

With Christ at the centre of all that we do, this renewed expression reflects who we are as a community of communities, based in our traditions but looking boldly to the future.

First Aid certified and ready for anything!

As part of their HMS and SLR studies, our Year 11 students recently completed their Senior First Aid Certification. They rolled up their sleeves and put theory into practice mastering CPR, managing trauma, and learning how to respond swiftly in emergency situations.

Beyond earning a valuable qualification for their studies, our students have built real-world confidence and life-saving skills to keep our community safe.

Year 11 Retreat Day 1

On Wednesday, Year 11 began their senior retreat at Stanwell Tops. The boys spent the morning connecting with other members of their small groups guided by their teachers. Getting to know others they may not connect with daily. Students were also provided with an opportunity to reflect and discern the values and attitudes we want to take forward through a lens of ‘servant leadership’.

After lunch, they completed an Emmaus walk down to Stanwell Park beach, and spent some more time playing games connecting with each other. We wrapped up the day with a very competitive games night.

It has been a great start to a very memorable experience for Year 11 and we are looking forward to the next 2 days where we continue to explore and reflect what it means to be a Lasallian leader.

Wishing our Year 12 students the very best for their upcoming HSC Trial Examinations.
You have dedicated countless hours to your studies, developing both your academic abilities and personal resilience. As you begin this important stage of your journey, trust in your preparation, believe in your capabilities, and approach each exam with confidence and determination.
We are reminded of the words of Saint John Baptist De La Salle,
“Do not have any anxiety about the future, but leave everything in God’s hands, for He will take care of you.”

Our Senior Football Team has booked their place in the Sydney Catholic Schools Conference Grand Final after a thrilling 1–0 victory over Marist College North Shore.

With the match seemingly destined for extra time, the breakthrough came in the dying moments. Lucas Fama rose above the defence to power home a brilliant header from a perfectly delivered free kick by Ethan Fahd.

A fantastic team performance, showing determination, resilience, and belief right until the final whistle.

The boys now turn their attention to the Sydney Catholic Schools Grand Final next Thursday, where they will take on Patrician Brothers Fairfield. We wish the team the very best of luck!

It has been an exhilarating finish to the Term 2 SCS Representative Sport Competition. Congratulations to the Senior Football team on defeating La Salle Bankstown to progress to the semi-final of the All Conference Finals. The team played exceptionally well and should be incredibly proud of this outstanding achievement.

Well done also to our Junior Rugby League team. While they were not victorious in their Grand Final, they demonstrated outstanding resilience and teamwork, qualities that truly reflect the spirit of DLS Revesby!

We were lucky to have the famous Australian author Steven Herrick perform “Poetry to the Rescue” to our Year 7 students. The boys thoroughly enjoyed his witty and relatable poetry, learning about different types of poems such as Refrain and List poems. Steven said he “thought the students were positively responsive and involved in the session.”
