Since Monday, we have been fortunate to be delivering our RIIWHS204E Work Safely at Heights course onsite at an amazing Australian manufacturing company. Convair in Epping makes bespoke, high-end dry-material tankers second to none.

This week, working with different teams across the manufacturing process has been an absolute pleasure. Staff look out for one another and demonstrate a commitment to safety and quality outcomes.

After sending staff to our RIIWHS202E Confined Space Entry course earlier this year, Management came to us needing a WAH course onsite, and we were able to curate a course that has been a great success.

Once again, we love building quality professional training partnerships with organisations that appreciate our commitment to quality training outcomes.

Yesterday, we rolled out our specialised Corporate/Employer Driving Course for the amazing Connected Vehicles Team from Toyota Australia. This team plays a vital role in developing and implementing technology that saves lives.

It was wonderful to challenge and promote thinking pathways to a group of (highly) intelligent and talented individuals. We love how our course is anything but a traditional defensive driving course, but lands powerfully in often neglected areas of road safety connected to employment.

Backed by passionate and caring managers, it was amazing to watch the team come together to convert our lessons into plans that further promote the safe use of company vehicles and more.

We look forward to rolling out the course to future groups connected to this team in the coming weeks.

On Monday, we were lucky enough to be in sunshine (despite the freezing winds) to deliver the Vehicle Inspection sessions from our specialised road safety course for secondary schools.

We are enjoying our weekly visits to this new school out west. With a great, fun, diverse student cohort, a wonderful, dedicated group of teachers, and the fact that this is the only road safety course that delivers 72% of the required VET-VM hours and connects road safety to employability, it makes it easy. 😊

Nothing pleases us more at ITS when an existing client (In this case Origin Energy) comes to us with a training challenge.

In this instance, they required a specialised training course involving Ring Feeder Coupling and more for their staff.

We were able to access content experts, organise a specialist trainer (who had studied previously with ITS on another specialised trainer course), create the program and roll it out today all within a week or two of the initial request.

Solving training challenges is what we do! 😊

Today, Onder (pictured) returned from working for the week with an incredible organization that we always admire and continually celebrate their contribution to indigenous youth and communities.

Onder was in Albury/Wodonga delivering the TLI41225 Cert IV Driving Instructor qualification to staff from On Country Pathways, who have now delivered over 200 successful L to P drivers via the Instructors who have previously completed our course.

As we all know, not having a licence can be a barrier to employment and so much more. It is awesome to know, we share a small part in these incredible outcomes for our indigenous communities connected to OCP. 😍

Today we have been fortunate to deliver our RIIWHS204E Work Safely at Heights course to an incredible team at Loyola College. It is always a privilege to work with teams that demonstrate a care for one another and foster a safety culture.

At ITS, we're grateful when talented people participate in our training, and we can reward that talent with work opportunities.

This week, we have been able to "borrow" Aiden, a former student of our CFA Driver Educator Course, to deliver training to HVDI students. (Heavy Vehicle Driving Instructor)

These students are experienced workplace trainers from NSW, SA and Vic, upskilling to meet the requirements of their workplace and regulators.

Road safety and driver education have a "whole of business" benefit, creating success beyond OHS and WHS outcomes. It is great to see Aiden and the crew "drive" this education.

Here at ITS, nothing makes us happier than playing a small part in a person's "big deal".

In this photo is a remarkable student who participated in our Road Safety program for Secondary Schools earlier this year.

From Regional Victoria, this amazing student, working independently of the cohort, smashed through our course with flying colours. (ahead of the main crew. 😉)

During the course, conversations began about possible opportunities we could help facilitate for work experience. (anywhere, anything)

We reached out to Mitch, Jade, and the amazing Management Team at the Autodrome to explore the possibility of work experience at a local Toyota dealership or similar setting.

As with everything Toyota does, they came back with an opportunity far bigger and better than anything we had hoped for, and this week, they facilitated an amazing work experience at "The Centre of Excellence" at Altona in Melbourne.

Pictured below are the amazing staff: Kate and Wendy from Rochester Secondary College; Mitch from Toyota Australia (the man who truly made it happen); Onder from ITS (who is about to get Jacko driving); the amazing Jacko himself; and his dedicated Educational Support, Rueben.

A huge thanks to everyone and Toyota Australia for putting this incredible week together for Jacko. 😍
