What a wonderful day today was! Repton students were so grateful to be invited to spend the day with our friends at Raleigh Public School to celebrate Aboriginal Languages Week.
We painted with Aunty Lisa, heard stories from Uncle Micklo and explored artefacts with Aunty Jenny and Dennis.
A huge thank you to Mrs Meenehan for hosting us today - it was fantastic!

What a fun finish to term 3. We had our cooking, arts and music programs to begin our day. After a lovely lunch break we entered our skipping contest. Congratulations to Coco, Julian, Myla and Jude! Then we enjoyed the afternoon together with our chickens, before heading off on holidays! See you all on Tuesday 13th October.

Winda year 5/6 students had a great time at the Butterfly House with Jo from Cascade Environmental Education Centre. Raleigh PS and Crossmaglen PS students also came to develop deeper understanding of the compromised Richmond Birdwing Butterfly. 🦋
Our information reports are full of new learning and this hands on experience has made it more meaningful for us all. Thanks Ms Vanessa for driving us. The mazes and dinosaur shows were fun too!
Thanks Raleigh Public School for hosting the afternoon session too.

Final session with woodwork for this term ended at the men’s shed in Bellingen. We enjoyed creating our final masterpiece of a butterfly made from bottle caps. So much creativity! Thanks Mick and Michael once again! Your bbq lunch, donations and time was well appreciated. Inspiring generations with community service. Amazing! 🤩 Our bee hotels just awaiting some bamboo and we will showcase.
