📚✨ Celebrating Our Very Own Illustrator During Book Week! ✨ 🎨

This Book Week, we were very proud to celebrate one of our talented staff members, Greg Reeks, who is the illustrator of a children’s book ‘The Boy Who Listened To The Wind’! 📖
Our Year 1 students were lucky enough to enjoy a special reading of the book with Greg, before having copies personally signed for our school. 🖊️💛
What a wonderful opportunity for our students to connect with a published illustrator right here within our own school community and to see where creativity, imagination and a love of books can lead.
He then led them in an activity in drawing the wind.

🎭✨ Creativity was on full display during Book Week at St Joseph's Renmark! ✨🎭

A huge congratulations to our staff, who went above and beyond with their fantastic Book Week costumes. From classic characters to modern favourites, their creativity, humour and enthusiasm brought plenty of smiles and excitement to the celebrations.

📚✨ What a wonderful Book Week celebration at St Joseph's Renmark! ✨📚

Our school was filled with creativity, colour and excitement as students and staff showcased their incredible Book Week costumes. It was fantastic to see so many favourite book characters brought to life, and we were so impressed by the imagination and effort everyone put into their outfits.

A heartfelt thank you to all the families who joined us to watch the parade and support our students. Your presence helped make the day extra special and reflects the strong sense of community that makes St Joseph's Renmark such a wonderful place to learn and grow.

Gemma from Children's University visited our students on Friday to show them the new portal and prepare them for graduation.
We are proud to have 29 students involved in the program. These students will graduation later in the year.

Congratulations to our students who performed in the Riverland Primary Schools Music Festival on Tuesday night.
We are very proud of the dedication, commitment, and incredible talent shown by everyone.
A big thank you to Mrs Charnstorm and Miss Duffield for their work in preparing the students.

💙 Celebrating Our Amazing ESO Team! 💙

This week we have been focusing on showing our sincere gratitude, appreciating and thanking our ESO’s. and as we acknowledge ESO Week, we would like to take this opportunity to recognise and thank the incredible Education Support Officers at St Joseph's School.

Our ESO team plays such an important role in the life of our school. Every day, they provide care, encouragement, guidance and support to our students, staff and families. Whether working alongside teachers in classrooms, supporting student learning and wellbeing, assisting behind the scenes, or helping our school run smoothly, their contribution is invaluable.

Small Acts, Big Impact at St Joseph's!

This week, our students embraced the Bully No Way Week 2026 theme, "Small Acts, Big Impact", learning that kindness, inclusion and speaking up can make a real difference.

Through lessons facilitated by Mr DePalma and teachers, students explored ways to prevent bullying and harassment, signed a class pledge to promote respect and empathy, and created powerful posters highlighting the skills needed to stand against bullying.

Together, we're showing that small actions can create meaningful change.
