🏀 𝗦𝗔𝗣𝗦𝗔𝗦𝗔 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹🏀

What an awesome day of basketball for Renmark Primary School!

RPS was proudly represented by both a girls and boys team, with our students putting together a fantastic day both on and off the court.

🥇 Our girls had an outstanding day, winning all of their games and finishing first overall in Division 2! An incredible achievement and something they should be very proud of!

🥉 Our boys also had a brilliant day, finishing third overall! They won all but one of their games, with their only loss coming by just 2 points in a very close contest.

Most importantly, our students displayed fantastic sportsmanship, teamwork and encouragement throughout the entire day. They represented Renmark Primary School with pride and had an awesome time playing the game they love!

A huge thank you to all of the staff, coaches and parents who supported our teams and a shout out to Mrs Dunne for all her organising in preparation for the day!

Well done, RPS! What a fantastic day of basketball! 🏀💙

This week Renmark Primary School celebrated SSO week.

It’s an opportunity for our school to say a huge THANK YOU to our amazing SSOs 🫶🏻

Our SSOs play such an important role in our school community. From supporting learning, regulation and engagement in classrooms, to caring for students, supporting staff and families, keeping our school running smoothly and always being willing to lend a hand. The impact they have is incredible.

We are so grateful for the kindness, patience, care and commitment our SSOs show every single day. So much of what happens at RPS simply wouldn’t be possible without them.

💙 Rapid Access Paediatric Clinic 💙

We currently have appointments available for the next RAP Clinic this Friday 28 August. If your child needs medical support of any kind, please contact the school office to make an appointment.
This service is free for students and their siblings and is also open to children attending Renmark Childrens Centre.

A little Monday morning good news story to start the week! 💙📚

We’re kicking off the week by celebrating some results we are incredibly proud of at Renmark Primary School.

Two years ago, we made an informed decision to shift the way we teach phonics. We implemented the Department for Education phonics approach, embraced coaching to strengthen instruction, and committed to high-quality, consistent practice across our classrooms.

Our 2026 Year 1 Phonics Screening Check results now show a 53 percentage-point increase in students reaching benchmark. 🌟

This hasn’t happened by chance. It reflects the commitment of our staff to learning, refining their practice and consistently delivering high-quality phonics instruction.

Most importantly, more of our students are developing the strong foundations they need to become successful readers.

We are incredibly proud of this result and the work behind it. 👏

🛍️✨ CALLING LOCAL MAKERS & CREATORS 🛍️✨

Expressions of interest are now open for market stallholders at the very first GEM Festival! 💛❤️💚

📅 Thursday 29 October 2026
🕒 4:00pm – 8:00pm
📍 Renmark Primary School & Renmark High School

GEM Festival will bring our schools and the wider Renmark community together for an afternoon and evening of connection, celebration and GEM spirit, with food, entertainment, student activities, market stalls and plenty happening across both school sites.

We’d love our market area to showcase the wonderful makers and creators from across Renmark and the wider Riverland.

✨ There is no cost to have a stall.
✨ Each stallholder will have a 3m x 3m space.
✨ Stallholders will need to provide their own gazebo, tables and equipment.
✨ There is no access to power in the market area.
✨ Vehicle access for setup will be nearby, but not directly at individual stall sites.

A Wonderful SALA Celebration 🎨✨

Our 2026 SALA Exhibition was a huge success, and we are so proud of the creativity, talent and community spirit that filled our school.

🌟 Most importantly, our students were the absolute stars of SALA! Their creativity, imagination and individuality shone through in every piece of artwork and every display. Seeing them proudly share their work with their families and our wider community was what the evening was all about. We are incredibly proud of each and every one of them. 🎨❤️

A huge thank you to our amazing teachers for the creativity, time and effort that went into bringing the exhibition together and showcasing our students' learning and artwork so beautifully. Thank you also to our wonderful SSOs for all of their support behind the scenes and throughout the event.

We are so grateful to the parents, caregivers, families and members of our wider community who joined us. Having so many people come through our exhibition to celebrate our students helped make the evening incredibly special. 💙

A special thank you to our talented school choir and Greek Groovers dancers, along with the instrumental music bands, for entertaining our families and adding such a fantastic atmosphere to the evening. 🎶💃

We would also like to acknowledge our Community Connect Committee for their contribution and support, and for once again helping create an event that brings our school community together.

From the incredible artwork and interactive displays to the music, dancing and wonderful community atmosphere, SALA was a beautiful celebration of the creativity and spirit of Renmark Primary School.

Thank you to everyone who played a part in making SALA 2026 such a memorable event. We are so proud of our students and so proud of the community we are. ❤️🎨✨
